  1. Whatever you say lady...If you're offended at random people making comments about your impressive weight loss, and think it is rude or out of line, you should have heard what they were saying or thinking about you before...I personally think your attitude about it is down right silly. I was overweight my entire life and what people said to me was hurtful, so getting some positive comments and reinforcement from strangers is a welcomed breath of fresh air. If youre not cool with the attention you can just gain all your weight back if you would like and they wont say a thing to your face anymore.
  2. I really really hate your attitude about this. We have turned our society into a PC mine field where we cant say anything negative about anyone and now when people are saying positive things towards you and your choice to be healthy, it offends you?? Seriously lady, I dont see many posts on this forum that make me angry , but yours just did. Its so self centered and entitled that its not even funny. To answer your question, YES you are apparently nuts. You should be embracing the positive reinforcement people are giving you. Not many people understand obesity and chose to ignore it like the 800 lb gorilla in the room and pretend to not notice it. And if they do notice it, people snap their heads off and call them fat shamers. Now they are noticing your new found health and trying to connect to you on a deeper level and understand what you went through and that bothers you? Seriously? (trust me if you heard what they said behind your back when you were fat, you would be offended) From my experiences, overweight people are NOT happy and they feel like crap 24/7, if you say otherwise I will call BS over and over again. Now get off your high horse and learn to say "Thank you" to the compliments and enjoy the newfound positive attention. .
  3. you will feel very hungry until you start eating solid foods. Then the feeling of satisfaction is there when you eat!!!
  4. You all look AMAZING!! Im so proud to be part of this community !!

  7. Thank you!! make sure and check out my youtube channel, Jerseyjules on youtube..I give some good advice!
  8. I had a little thinning at about 3 to 4 months. The key to minimize it is to get your proteins in. You can slow it down but any time you lose a lot of weight rapidly your body will break down a bit and shed some hair. It will come back after a few months. I use Biotin and get about 100 to 120 grams of protein a day.
  9. When you do THIS, it puts it in persepctive for you..
  10. I just ate 4 our of 6 slices of a small personal pizza, and I feel absolutely guilty..lol But today was a super low intake day for me for some reason up until that point..
  11. Thank you so much...Im really proud of how far I have come in such a short time..I almost want to walk around in my boxers..lol
  12. I have been stuck at 224 to 228 for about 2 months now, but my body has changed. So my weight may be stable my fat is dropping and my muscle is building. I can almost see my ab muscles!!! If I can lose 15 more lbs of body fat ill be happy.
  13. You most likely will always see yourself as the person you once were. Im down to basically my goal weight and still dont see myself as others do. AllI can say is do split screen photos of your before and after...It will show then.
  14. Seriously if these husbands knew how much sex they are about to have, they would be waaaaaaaay more supportive.. Every woman that I know who had the surgery has been a maniac about sex afterwards..
  15. I have the sleeve and am 6 to 7 months out. I can eat whatever I want just smaller portions. I tend NOT to eat lots of bread or sandwiches cause it fills you too fast and you can't get your protein requirements, and its a different full feeling, like a bad one. My main diet consists of Eggs, chicken, steak, chili, salmon, tuna steak, yogurts, cottage cheeses, nuts and salads...I have the occasional slice of pizza or 1/4 of a piece of sub sandwich, but processed coldcuts dont sit to well with me.. You basically have to see what you like to eat again and you will be eating smaller, human sized portions of it. Like now I can barely eat 2 eggs and 4 oz of Icelandic yogurt for breakfast, where my old self would eat 3 to 4 egg omelette with cheese, 2 slices of toast with PB&J and 4 slices of turkey bacon, and 3 cups of coffee and still be hungry an hour later.. The major difference is separating your liquids from solids and not drinking with your meals, you dont realize how used to it you have become.
  16. Is your friend a big girl also? Cause I can foresee that relationship going south when you begin to lose weight. As you lose weight the two of you will probably drift further and further apart, as your views and lifestyles will change. Just my opinion...But you will go through a little Vanity phase when you start slimming down, and that may annoy her if she is a large girl. But good luck, its about to be the best thing you ever did for your body.!!!
  17. Tell him the hormone change you are about to experience is gonna make you the horniest version of yourself he has ever seen...Hes about to get worn the hell out, trust me!!! Give it 3 to 4 weeks....He will be thanking you.. My wife has to literally spray me with a hose to keep me off of her. :-)
  18. My Chanel is Jersey Jules, same as my screen name and thank you for the kind words! Im glad i can motivate some people to literally save their lives!
  19. You have to..Its that simple. You need to learn to love being healthy and living a healthy lifestyle. It doesnt have to be insanely healthy to the point of an obsession, but just a lot healthier than we once were.
  20. Hahahahahaah! Thank you, I was on the fence about posting this picture in an effort to not be looked at as vain or douchey, but I think the motivational factor Im trying to promote, outweighs that. And I must admit, it feels kinda good to be sexually harassed once again. :-) It's been a while...
  21. I do a little, mostly right around my naval. and higher up on my stomach area, but not as extreme as I have seen some. I think perhaps Im still young enough where it will tone up a bit. Right now it just looks like a woman who just had a child and deflated around the belly, but I never had any stretch marks to start.
  22. The key is you have to "fluff" first...LOL
  23. Sorry if this is a bit much to post, but Im a father of 2 that was a 300lb hot mess just 6 months ago, and Im proud of this and I want to share it! Im either bout to get roasted or my inbox bout to blow up from all you ladies!!! LOL...
