How soon after your last visit with the nutritionist or after the final tests did it take for you to be approved ? I have 2 more visits with the nutritionist then the final tests I'm nervous and anxious it took 3 business days

I wanted to know what happens at a consultation .. will they say I need to lose more weight. or put me in a diet.. or best scenario .. get a surgery date!!

are u going to ask her what the change of heart was?!! and what were her fears initially ?! no all of a sudden she's ok with it, because of a co-worker? I'd let her know that were hurt previously by her action

I want to encourage anyone who may be anxious or nervous or think that they will not get approved because I was all of those things .I did stay in prayer and I know whatever God has for me will be. Being approved ..were my prayers being answered and one of the best days of my life. I just wanted to scream and cry and shout. Now that my life will be forever changed I know that I will have to do my part to keep this new life style. #GodIsSoGoodToMe

my paperwork was submitted on Friday and I'm hoping to hear an approval date soon hopefully by the end of this week please be in prayer with me that it gets approved I have been so nervous from the beginning just to make sure I do what needs to be done to have it approved my blood pressure is still high (I'm not good at taking pills )so that might be an issue I didn't lose any weight during 6 months of nutrition visits..but I stayed gain either

what kind of plan do u have? HMO/PPO?! and what state are u in? everything varies call the ins. company directly and speak to somebody there who is well-versed in the process I would also contact my PCP before the surgeon if you have a HMO United healthcare plan you will need a referral to move forward with the nutrition ,psych, apnea In regard to co pays my amount is 10 .. It all depends on the an you have..

do u know y most claims for these surgeries get denied ?!

I have the same concerns.. borderline BMI..I handle my anxiety with Prayer.. and cross each bridge as they arise.. I have had psych evaluation and I am currently meeting with the nutritionist for a period of six months I also have high blood pressure and recently found out that I have sleep apnea which will actually help me qualify

if I am borderline BMI and my nutritionist wants me to lose weight ..are they going to take the starting number or the number where I am after I lose weight.. it seems to be a catch if I lose too much weight I'll have a low BMI but if I'm not showing progress . that can count against me.. i'm thinking of losing weight the latter three months .. just to show progress

advantage of PPO .. I thought of switching , but I do not wanta pay more for ins. did they still require 6 months of Nut?
