  1. HW 280 DOS. 259 (January 12) Current: 221 Goal....
  2. I am an African-American female who was sleeved January 2015. My weight loss has been slowand steady, and then I hit a stall for about a month. Finally I am back on track.
  3. This situation is a reason why marriages dissolve after surgery. Your husband should love you unconditionally.
  4. It has been two weeks since I was sleeved. I feel great. My only regret I did not do this sooner. Lost a total of 16 lbs and no issues.
  5. OMG that it's so crazy. Prayers and just good old fashioned luck that there is someone in the office that will work in your favor.
  6. Home after the procedure. Trying to get the fluids down.
  7. I am a sleever. Yeah. 1/12/15. Little pain. Episode of nausea. Passed my swallow test. Having my clear liquids. Yummy.
  8. O.k. I got up to go to the bathroom so many times I loss count. I know my nerves were on the edge but the clear liquids was a bit much. I am up and ready for my 2 nd special shower. The hospital has special instructions for the night before and the morning of the surgery. Did anyone go on line to Bariatric Vitamins. They offered a FREE 3 months supply of vitamins and calcium supplements. Print out the form and your doctor's office will complete it and fax it to the company. I just wanted to share this. I pray for the stay hand of the surgical team, the attentiveness of the anesthesiologist and the professionalism of the staff attending to me and all my January sleevers.
  9. Tomorrow is my big day. Scheduled for 10 A. I can't wait to just get to the other side.
  10. As the date quickly approach I am getting excited. I went for my pre-admission testing yesterday. My husband is so supportive of my decision to do this procedure he drove me around yesterday. Life is good.
  11. Got my call for my pre-op visit with my PMD. She likes to do most of the test in her office then I go to see anesthesiologist on the same day for his preoperative visit on the 5 th of January. So far everything is on schedule. January 12, 2015 is 11 days and a wake-up.

  15. I am right behind you on the 12.
  16. Got my date. January 12, 2015. Meet with my surgeon today. I don't have to do the liquid diet for the two weeks. Low fat diet is what my nutritionist recommend for me. He said I can do a meal replacement. New beginnings.
