Thanks Bridget!!! I got my surgery moved up to 8:30. I am ready to lose half of me. I have been carrying around an extra me all my life. Time to give the old girl a boot! Thank you all for your well wishes.

Well after 3 long years of waiting....my Lapband surgery is at hand. I have to be there at 8:30 in the morning! So excited I can hardly type. I want to say a special shout out to B and to let you know that I will wish you nothing but a speedy recovery. Be sure and warm Dr. B up real well for me and may both our surgerys go smooth as silk. MaseAnn, may your surgery go smooth as well! I look forward to being on the losing side very soon!!! I am thankful I found this board, you guys rock!!

Yes, If someone needs a pet boarded or something like that I can certainly do that. I don't have any extra room, but will certainly be glad to help out with a pet. I do have 1 dog and 3 cats already...so one more won't make a difference.

Things I am looking forward to: 1. Being around for my kids as they get older. 2. Getting a belly button ring and a tattoo. 3. Painting my own toenails. 4. Sitting on my husband's lap without him trying to pretend that I am not crushing his legs...lol...he is such a sweetheart. 5. Looking at a mirror instead of looking everywhere but the mirror. 6.
