  1. I don't go to that extreme, but I do ask for a togo container when I order my meal. Then as soon as I get my meal I put more than half of it in the container and set it down off the table. That way it out of my sight and I don't give it a second thought.
  2. Huggs Vines on the loss of a dear old friend.

I also bought 3 exercise tapes today at halfpriced books for 4 bucks a piece...I am locked and loaded and pulling the trigger for 2006! :-)
  4. Maybe this will be your sweet spot. I do have some restriction after my 3rd fill, but know that I am not there yet and will be in for a 4th one probably in Feb.

  20. GNC has a wide range of protien powders. On the soups...just try and watch the sodium content, it can really make one retain water. There is a killer blackbean soup by 24 hour fitness. I made that and just blended it right up...it was very satisfying when I was on creamy liquids mushies. You can do a search in foods for blackbean soup and it should come up.

  22. Congrats to all you new bandsters!
  23. Keep in mind that I had worked on trying to get the band 3 years ago, but lost my insurance, due to a layoff...so I always knew what I wanted. 1. get referral --> surgery consult: Went to seminar for Dr. Benavides on July 16th, first consulation on July 27th. 2. surgery consult --> surgery scheduled: Went through stress test and sleep test on July 29th, went to Physc. Exam on Aug 2nd, sent to Insurance on Aug. 12th and was approved on Aug. 24th. 3. surgery scheduled --> the actual operation: My surgery was scheduled for Sept. 23rd and I had a preop with Dr. B on Sept. 21. 4. operation --> leaving the hospital: Operated on Sept 21 at 8:30 and left there by 1:30. 5. left hospital --> first fill: My first fill was 4 weeks later on Oct. 24th and I had one in Nov and one in Dec. Am going to wait until Feb. before I think about another one. I want to wait until the holidays are well and truly over to give this last fill a chance.
