  4. Well mt sleeve was the 13th and this is hard. But I cooked for my husband green beans, 3 turkey legs, corn, mashed potatoes, and green salad. I will puree my beans and a pc of meat. And that will be that. I'm so thankful for my new life
  5. Me too...lol I'm always in tank tops but now I want clothes. I'm eating pinches of egg whites and sips of soup. It's so hard but I'm extremely full. I don't know if things will change once the stomach is no longer sore.
  6. #jessiquoi my husband is so surprised that I'm the one complaining. I can't stand the cold air.
  7. Had surgery on 13th of November. Does anyone else get cold. Before my air would be 65* degeees but now I complain about the air.
  8. I am only 11days out and I am happy with my decision. I'm not gonna lie....when I first woke until my week visit I regretted it. But it was so emotional because it was so drastically life changing. I couldn't drink a full glass of cold water and that upset me. I had anxiety and depression. Because I thought what have I done. But then I went to see my surgeon and she explained to me that everything that I'm experiencing is normal. Everyone heals different. I had my gallbladder taken out July 9 .....so I was having another major surgery within 3mths of each other. So I stayed in icu for 4days with a fever. But then I was released that Sunday night and came home and I couldn't sleep and I felt myself becoming dehydrated and I started questioning my decision. But after I saw my surgeon and she prayed with me and assurred me it's gonna get better then i've been HAPPY. But still want to drink a big glass of COLD water but I am still happ about my life changing.
  9. Ok had surgery 13th of November but I'm supposed to be on full liquids this week until Wednesday but I'm drinking homemade soup, gatorade (for lack of previous dehydration), jello, and sips of water. I'm extremly full with just an oz of liquid
  10. I wore mine for 6 days but it became too big for me in 6days.

  12. My sleeve was 13th of November and I woke up in icu with horrible nurses. I didn't have a tube so vomited all that basty old bloody blackish stuff from my stomach. I had the nurse in my room every 2hrs wanting me up to walk. I had a stress headache that never left til I left the hospital. I had a temperature from 99.5-100.8 constantly. I left icu 4days later. And came home depressed because I couldn't drink 1oz of fluid. But on my one week checkup wth my surgeon Dr. Otah I'm 14lbs thinner and it has gotten better
  13. I had the sleeve on Nov 13 and I woke up with horrible nurses that didn't care. I love my surgeon Dr. Otah because I went for my one week visit and told her how depressed I've been and she listened, apoligized for the care from the nurses in icu (4 days), and prayed with me. After I left her office it was the first time I felt no regrets about my life changing decision. I lost 14lbs in 7days. I have been trying to take in more liquids but it's hard. Get so full so fast. The gas and spasms are hell but it has gotten better. Tuesday I go see my pcp for my b12 shot and I will see my surgeon again week after thanksgiving
