I was sleeved 1-23-15 and first two days where alright on the 3rd it really started to hit me I was in pain off and on couldn't really keepuch of nothing down and to be honest my way of looking at this...is that it is truly a whole new lifestyle from day to night I'm a Lil over a month out now and it has gotten easier and I can drink liquids sooo much more than I can eat I can finish a whole half a bottle of water in less than five minutes compared to the small sips I was taking in the beginning of last month don't worry it will all get better with time specially when you start dropping the weight
  3. Congrats girly I'm a month post op today and I'm down 30 pounds it's not easy but watching the weight go down is making it worth all the strugles

I was very frustrated at first but with time it'll get easier and it has last week I started to cook for my kids and boyfriend again I hadn't since the surgery cus is hard to be around food and its been easy its actually a stress reliever to cook now which I love to do but don't worry I'm sure you'll get the hang of it

Hi I'm happy to say that today I'm a month post op I was sleeved 1-23-15 and it hasn't been easy it really is a whole new life style but with time I have and I'm still growing a custom to it I am down 27 pounds today in one month I was 286 on the day of surgery and today I was 255 on the money and my clothes are beginning to be big on me and loose I can't tell yet but people who I work with and family can well can't wait to see what my future has in store for me

I'm so happy for you the journey is different for everybody in my case I was sleeved to just recently on 1/23/15 and after surgery the worst for me was the gas pain omg it was horrible but I'm a week and 2 days out and I'm soooo much better I went to the doctors Friday and I had lost 17 pounds I was so glad I'm 5" 5 and pre surgery I was 286 now I'm 269 its not much but I can't wait for this weight to keep dropping very much luck to you and your journey I wish you well
  8. Yes is a week for me today as well and I am doing so much better only thing is that I feel weak and not wanting to do anything other than that everything us just fine here as well

As nasty as it sounds is prolly gas pain you have to fart it out I think that's what caused my pain ever since I left the emergency room Sunday that's what I been doing LOL but hey is doing the job and I've had minor pain nothing my percosets haven't took away well hopefully soon all this will start paying off

UPDATE: well surgery was fine woke up with gas pain of course I was given something good to keep the pain away the whole time when I was sent home Saturday afternoon was when the pain started they're pain meds weren't doing nothing but keeping me dizzy ended up back in the hospital Sunday am where I was given lots of meds of gas threw my iv and pain meds finally since then it has been nothing but perfect since I take my pain meds when ever the pain comes back Thursday is my first appointment since surgery and I can't wait to see how much I've lost

I was sleeved on the 23rd the gas pain was the worst surgery was Friday and pain wasn't that bad till I got home didn't sleep any that night went to the hospital in the am the gave me some gas medicine and morphine and I was fine I've began eating broth since then and it is sobweird is like you can almost picture your stomach now and how you know you can't eat any more ... But idk go to the doctors Friday and I'm excited to find out if I'm loosing any weight good luck to you leeleebaby

So surgery went fine I was in and out in less then an hour I was in a bit of pain and feeling pressure in the beginning but pain meds did they're work I slept most of the day and was only allowed to eat a Lil bit if ice later on I had a Lil moment where the pain was really bad I was given pain meds I walked around and no pain since then thank you everybody for all your words

My official journey starts tomorrow my surgery is scheduled for 9am my nerves are kicking in but I'm ready for a healthier better life I am only 26 and I am almost at 300 pounds and I'm so ready for a change my weight has held me back from doing a lot of things and I haven't been able to enjoy my life as I should be say a Lil prayer for me tonight please as I go under the needle

  23. Hey I have surgery on the 23rd this month as well I'm beyond nervous I started my shake diet yesterday and so far I'm holding up good luck to ya kit it would be nice to follow some one else along they're journey to
