    December sleevers

Anyone have this problem. I get full eating but after an hour or so, my stomach growls and I feel hungry. I don't eat but I was sleeved on 12/11 and have had no issues this now. I know it is not head hunger because I can ignore that, but it feels like hunger physically, like I have a hole in my stomach and it is never satisfied.
  2. Of those of you who use Genepro, are you still using it and do you still like it? I am having trouble getting my protein in and need to find a way to add it to my liquids or meals.
  3. If you are still using Genepro, do you still like/use it? Concerned about wasting money since others say it is not possible to put that much protein in such a small quantity.
  4. I was. Wondering if any of those of you who have used genepro are you still using it and do you like it? I was concerned after reading that it is not possible to get in that much protein in such a small quantity.
  5. Of those who have tried Genepro, are you still using it. I have searching reviews etc and still wonder if it is a good product
  6. I was sleeved on same day, but I am in states. Had surgery in Mexico. No complications thus far. No issues, no pain. Just now trying on getting my protein in and water. Starting to hate soup,
  7. I too am having no real problems. Never had to take any of the pain pills they sent me home with. I have had no problems drinking and I am wondering if there is something wrong with me because I can't tell if I am full or not. Still have this anesthesia gas inside and still trying to get it out. Drinking protein shake and creamed soups. Haven't gotten all my protein or water in since surgery. Had surgery last Thursday and no complaints. I feel hunger pains, but really can't tell dif between hunger and gas.
  8. Yes he does. Sucture staple and glue. I leave tomorrow. So far so good, no complications so I will keep my fingers crossed. Never in any pain. Just gassy from anesthesia. Gotta keep walking.
  9. I will be there next week, but going to different doctor, different hospital. Havving surgery on the 11th.
  10. There is a Facebook page: A lighter me (2014) . There are a lot of us going in December. I am December 11.
  11. emmuje875, you can check the status of your passport/pass card online and it will tell you the date it will arrive. Mine took about three weeks.
  12. Well I don't see lettuce on there. That is what I got in my packet too and that is what confused me. That doesn't sound like a salad to me. I wonder if you can eat the cauliflower or spinach cooked? Does anyone know? I don't eat most of those things except the egg the spinach and the cauliflower.
  13. The pre-op diet I have indicates you can have salad for one meal or split it up into two meals. I know about the shakes and the jello and the popsicles, but what about the diet with the 6 oz of protein. What did you/are you going to eat or did eat when in pre-op? I start next Friday and I don't want to mess this up?
  14. I am having surgery on the 11th. I have only told my sister and a friend. Don't want them to worry. I don't think the would approve, they are pretty old school.. So, I am "dieting". Will figure out Christmas when the time comes.
  15. luckyone5, did you ever have your surgery?
  16. Well I am scheduled for same day surgery with Dr. Ortiz on Dec11. Time is getting short. I read on a lot of different forums the positive experiences people have had with ALM. I only told my sister and my friend who is going with me. I did mention to two other friends the possibility of having weight-loss surgery and they were supportive but I never told them I made the arrangements or that I was actually going to do it. Have not told my parents or any other members of my family. They have just been observing that I have been trying to lose weight and have cut back on my eating. That was my plan for work as well. So when I start losing weight, it won't be much of a surprise. We shall see. Keep me in your prayers.

    Syntrax Protein

I just order the sample for 14.99 + 1.95 shipping . Came out to 16 something. I am going to find out which ones I like the best.
  18. There is a Facebook page for December Sleevers. Called December Sleevers.
  19. Well, I look forward to being a little colder when I get sleeved. I have a window air conditioner in my bedroom window, because the central air doesnt keep it cool enough for me. So maybe I will be able to retire it now. I am glad to know that you were able to eat a brownie/muffin/cake. I am going into this because I wanted to use my sleeve to assist me with my weight loss. To think that I would be deprived of something, made me unsuccessful at dieting.
  20. Wow this is the first time I have heard anything about a meal plan. I will have to check that out.
  21. For all you that are getting sleeved in December, what preparations and products are you purchasing? What are you doing to get ready?
  22. So Amgarza54, did you have any passport issues? I read where you were not taking your passport. How did your surgery go?
  23. I know what you mean kc342. I thought it was only me. I am scheduled for December 11 with Dr. Ortiz in TJ. I only have a couple of people I can talk to about it because of the stigma of having surgery in Mexico. Never thought it would be a solution for me but didn't want to have to go through all the jumping through hoops to get insurance to approve and having to wait. I have become so obsessed with my surgery. I keep reading and reading and watching videos. I keep emailing questions to my coordinator, who is really nice and doesn't mind all my questions. I don't start preop til day after Thanksgiving, but I have been replacing one to two shakes a day, trying them out. Trying not to eat and drink at same time., drinking my water, whew....can you sat that's rough going all the time?
