Hi Connie,just a quick word for now but i have had a similar story to yours, I had to have my band removed in 2013 after a slip which was very bad, i finished up in ITU could not even drink water.At the hospital they warned me i might have gangrene and have to have some of my stomach removed.When i came round i was relieved to find out it was not necessary. I am having a sleeve on 17th nov and the surgeon said when they do the op it may be necessary to do a bypass if my stomach is too scarred from band. Would love to talk more but just on my way out to work (i work nights on hospital switchboard) but have next 3 days off so hope to speak more in depth soon.Pippinleicester

I`m sure it must be a cultural thing or perhaps we are more thick skinned but in certain parts of the north of England "You don`t sweat much for a fat lass" is considered a compliment !! Pippinleicester.

Hi i am getting sleeved on the 17th but with the time difference we are practically surgery twins.Isn`t it scary now it is sooo near.Who needs Halloween i am scared out of my life.Pippinleicester.

I discovered this as well when i had a lap band fitted and am going to use it when i have my sleeve done i can vouch for the fact that it works. Pippinleicester.
