I just got my approval and I'm having surgery on the 18th as well. This is my second attempt. My first surgery was cancelled the day before because of insurance issues. I'm excited that it's going to happen this time.
Congrats to those that were sleeved. I'm in a better frame of mind today. I cried for the first day because I was so frustrated with the incompetency of my insurance company and doctor's office. I will plug along and will do what I need to do when we get our new insurance.
My surgery was cancelled due to a mistake on the insurance companies part and my doctors' office. Devastated right now! Our insurance is switching soon so I won't be able to have surgery until 2015. I had finished the whole pre op diet and find this out 20 hours before I was scheduled.
I'm on day 7 of my preop diet, surgery in 3 days. I had headaches and felt very weak for 4 days. The last few days I have felt amazing. I can't wait to feel better and better!
I'm 8 days away from surgery. Today I made the most satisfying meal yet. I cooked some cubed chicken and added it to a broth with a ton of vegetables, spinach, mushrooms, carrots, onions, greens beans, celeryl, and red peppers.
If you are going to use it daily and have the $$$, I love the Blendtec. I bought mine from Sams club when they had a sale. It is easier to clean but it is seriously loud. If you will wake anyone up in the morning I wouldn't suggest it.
I will be sleeved on October 28th. I started my pre surgery diet today. I need to eat 4 oz of meat, salad veggies, sugar free, caffeine free, and carbonation free, a few protein shakes per day. I'm also allowed low fat dressing, low fat cheese, and eggs.
