:faint:I've been reading this thread for a while and would love to ask SANTA for one but I was looking at the prices and everyone posts that there about $249 and $99 for the watch but when I go to the 24 fitness website it says $349 For the bugg alone no display watch is this right?? can someone give me another link?? cause I don't think santa has that much $449 for both?????HELP:help:

Well gemini I had a similar expirience I went to my gyno and was having some problems concieving and all of a sudden out of know where my doc said you should get weight loss surgery done. At the time I was 27 and weighed 270 at 5"1" and this was in Jan of 2007. Well of course I went home and cried and cried in disbelief. I too thought I was okay with myself and weight I've been a relationship for 7 years with a supportive man but when I came home and told him what the doc said I couldn't believe what his reaction was, he told me that we should sit down and talk about this he explained to me that he loved me very much and that he wants to grow old with me (we have 7 yr old daughter together)and he doesnt see that happening if I stay at this weight, Oh my gosh I felt like him and the doc had ganged up on me needless to say I was so hurt by this I did'nt want to talk or even sit next to him for days, well some time passed and he again told me he just didn't want to think of being alone or raising or daughter alone. I didn't think at the time that this would be right for me I thoght that if I considered this I was a failure and that I was giving up on myself, well I got really depressed and gained 30 LBS.... and then I started to do some research about the band 2 months ago and decided this was right for me I changed my attitude and thought to myself why not get some help and one thing that really pushed me was that this long term weight loss and you maintain it and I want to live long for my daughter and I want to have more kids and the band allos you to.....sorry if I rambled on maybe this will help you .I 'm still waiting for my approval GOOD LUCK:biggrin1:

As I 'm reading your post I have the same fears and I too have also noticed that I only chew a few times and then swallow and I eat fast too, so I've already started to be proactive and start to chew my food slowly and try to eat protien first my biggest thing is that I always drink and eat at the same time and they say you can't after...... so good luck just wanted to let you know your not alone:hungry:

hello I don't know anything about medical but i am from cal i live in LA and haven't had surgery still waiting to be approved WELCOM!!!!:clap2:

i am also curios of how long approval took i have blue ppo prudent they said i had to poay 3500 out of pocket expenses

I'm still waiting .....my docs office submitted paperwork on 11-16-07 and am still waitng for ins. to review ,this is driving me crazy:faint:

I am so fustrated I'm waiting for my ins. approval I submmitted everything on 11-9-07 and the ins. recieved it and they are reviewing it still oh my goodness how long does this take!!!! I think my doc office is annoyed with me calling everyday, sorry I'm just fustrated :faint:

oh my god i feel the same way my ins. papers were sent on 11-8-07 I am waiting to here back as well, I only had a psych,and nutrition visit is there other tests they run???

I've already had my evaluation with Dr. ,psych, so now I'm just waiting for ins. approval. I know that I'm making the best decision of my life by doing this, at this point I'm 28 and been overweight since I was 5. I have absolutely tried others ways to lose weight and of course no luck. I've been in my current relationshipfor 7 years and the other day we were discussing my operation, and of course he is very supportive I thought until he said to me that he doesn't think I've really committed myself enough to excersing in the past (like it's all about excersing) so he tells me is this just another thing that I'm going to start and forget about later. Well since he's said that I to have the same doubt , but I see no other option for me to be healthy???? :help:
