  1. I look daily for info or advise. I am 6 weeks our from surgery looking for the normal for this time period, but everyone posting is either waiting for surgery or less than a month out. I know what to expect then already been there, its moving forward from 6 weeks to 6 months that I am searching for.
  2. Kindle I'm with you, if I don't eat I get hungery!

  7. I have noticed my rings twirl on my fingers now.one of my supervisors took a double take and asked if I was losing weight. I know I'm losing I just don't understand why I'm not losing at a much slower rate
  8. Omg you have no idea how bad I needed to hear this. I read about people losing 25 and 35 pounds in a month and I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong? I'm 28 days out and have only lost 16.6 pounds, makes me think maybe I'm not doing things so wrong after all. thank you for the reality check
  9. I am 28 days out and have only lost 16 lbs. I read these post about everyone losing 20 and 30 lbs in a month and I wonder what I am doing differently than everyone else. How many calories are you eating? I can only get in 600 to 700 in each day.
  10. I didn't think getting my drain removed was painful as much as an odd sensation. You defiantly felt it being pulled out.
  11. You got this girl!
  12. I used Dr Veboonen in Tijuana Mexico
  13. I am on here 24/7 I have no one to talk to about any of this. This site has helped answer so many questions.
  14. Once you get on soft foods you will feel some restriction. I was worried too. When I was on the liquid phase I never felt full
  15. My surgery was October 1st, I also gained about 10 days out. Started my monthly and lost it the next day. Don't worry!
  16. http://BariatricPal.com/index.php?/topic/322076-Went-in-for-Roux-en-y,-but-was-given-an-Omega-Loop-Gastric-Bypass#entry3634781
  17. There are less complications and easier recovery, Same results, cost less as well
  18. I have the omega loop ( mini gastric bypass) by choice. When I did my research on the different procedures the MGB was what I kept being brought back to. RNY seems to have a lot of complications, the Sleeve will stretch out. My surgeon said every day he is converting sleevers to the MGB (omega loop). I am by no means an expert on any of the weight loss procedures, but for me MGB was the best choice. I need the restriction and the malabsorption.
