My nurse told me to to weight myself for att least a week becacuse I would be up. hey did not even weigh me before I left to surgury center. I did not wait a week however but I was not frustrated when I did weigh myself because of the warning by the nurse. I tool me 7 days to show a loss.

African American Sleevers
I was sleeved on Monday November 3rd 2014. I will have my first weigh-in on the 7th so I can join this holiday challenge. Recovery is going well. The gas is almost gone and the pain is very manageable.

It's almost time.
I can't believe I'm sleeved. I looked into WLS for the first time 4 years ago. Ant then about 2.5 years ago but it never worked out. Both times I was looking to get banded. Even though this time I started research but I saw a really great youtube video about life 2 years after getting sleeved and I decided from that moment that the sleeve was for me. Right now I feel fine the gas pain it getting better and my tummy is still numb so no pain but I am sleepy. I had to get up once every hour yesterday day until bedtime then it was once every 2 hours around 2am they let my get about 3.5 hours of sleep before getting up to walk again. I'm walking well.

I am doing well. Feeling pain from the gas but that's it. It was a text book procedure doc offered to send me home today but I decided to play it safe and stay the night.
