  1. I had gastric bypass November 2014. I've since lost 100 pounds and am 30 to goal. I choose gastric bypass based on results of people I know. I never heard of the sleeve until my consultation but was already set on the bypass.
  2. Omega 3 is essential. And if you get Coromega squeeze packets, the Orange is like a dreamsicle and is A pudding consistency. It makes it easy to take post op
  3. I also use a brown tinted dry shampoo to hide my scalp, it works wonders and makes your hair look thicker
  4. Also I am almost 7 months post op and started losing hair at exactly 4 months and it was handfuls. Hope this helps you like it helped me.
  5. Biotin 10,000. Coromega squeeze packet daily. (Find it on amazon) And a castor oil or coconut oil treatment at least weekly to your scalp and roots. This may seem strange, but I did this and in 3 weeks I hardly noticed any shedding and at 6 weeks regrowth. I've heard that adding extra zinc to your vitamin regimen works great too but i personally never added that to my routine.
  6. You will! There are bumps and stalls along the way, but you will do great!
  7. That's amazing to hear! I know I look forward to people's updates, I'm more than happy to share mine ????
  8. That's amazing to hear! I know I look forward to people's updates, I'm more than happy to share mine ????
  9. That's awesome Rebecca!
  10. Thank you! I'm so happy!
  11. Finally after starting at 289, and 6 1/2 months post op I finally make it to Onderland today!! Yep 199.0 as of today! I was skeptical that that I would make it this far but I have and will keep going!
  12. I will be 6 months post op on the 18th. I am 5'3" and went from 289 to 206. Last month I only lost 2 pds! Hopefully this month is better! How is everyone else doing? And have you had any nasty stalls!? ????
  13. That is so good to hear! I hope this stall breaks soon! I will be posting if and when it does. It's just soooo discouraging!
  14. That could be, I don't always track on an app or paper but what I eat and drink is pretty easy to keep track of. I think I will change up what I'm eating tho. I do have a cup of coffee now every morning and even tho the creamer is no sugar free it is fat free, maybe those extra sugars are too much?!
  15. A month long stall? Is that possible? I've done so well and have kept all my habits the same. I am 5 months out. Started at 289 and am now 211 at 5'4. I want to get to 150 and will not give up. I am meeting my protein and liquid requirements. Maybe it's time to up the work outs? Up until today I was optimistic think this stall has to end soon, just to end my day in tears thinking I've failed and this is as good as it gets for me. So close to Onederland. Haven't been there since high school and I feel like maybe I just really won't get there. Last month was only a 6 pd loss and nothing this month. How could I not end my day in tears..
  16. I am 4 months post op today. Started at 289 and am now 222 at 5'3". I've had a plateau at 2 weeks and 3 months but only lasted a week. I have now not lost any weight the last 2 weeks. I've bumped up my protein and am taking in enough but not to many calories. I am happy for my loss so far but am so discouraged by this long stall and am finding ways to blame myself. Anyone else experience this?
  17. My biotin is a gel cap which is fine because I'm 4 mo post op. If your still on crushables Id stick with those
  18. Biotin is separate, sold anywhere they sell vitamins
  19. The squeeze packet is once a day. The orange tastes like a dreamsicle. I got them off amazon. I'm almost 4 months post op and they work amazing with the biotin!
  20. Biotin 10,000 and Coromega 3 squeeze packets is the magical combo. It will halt hair loss
