  1. He has the form...and yes the insurance company also has them.
  2. Hey guys! Havent posted on this site for awhile. I am currently in the pre-op phase going for endoscopy in the morning. Im really excited! Due to be sleeved 1/11/16.
  3. I have a tentative date of 1/11/16...going for endoscopy tomorrow...cant wait!
  4. Hey folks...we're having open enrollment at my job for an FSA account and I was wondering if any of you previous sleevers have one. How much do you feel is needed for WLS supplies etc? I was going to put in $750 and was wondering if that's enough. Thanks ????
  5. My PCP is also disorganized and you can barely read his hand writing. Whenever I would see him I made it clear the surgeon and insurance want to see in my notes my weight and regimen but I have a feeling he is not writing much. Thankfully the surgeon provided some notes with all that stuff so what I did was held onto the packet and filled out my weight at every visit with the regimen I was doing so that at the end of the 6 months all he had to do was sign it and fax it over..which he did. Disorganized people are very happy when you do their work for them ????
  6. Yes!...my PCP diagnosed me with low Vitamin D back in October. He said it was common in my area and that he has been reporting it to the CDC. He prescribed me Vitamin D supplements and he will re-check next month.
  7. You're right. Maybe he's just having a bad day. I'll work harder so he can see Im really trying. Thanks for your kind words
  8. Thanks for your words...I'm feeling better
  9. So...Im currently on the 6 month physician supervised diet required by my health insurance. Went in today for my 3rd weigh-in and my doctor was so frickin negative. It left me feeling so bummed. He said something like "I really wish there was something to say to get you to change your mind. I know this surgery will not work."....MIND YOU...He was originally supportive when I started in October. Maybe he said this cuz I had a 2lb weight gain...but I am on my period....I usually gain about 4lbs. Perhaps he was only supportive because he thought I wouldnt follow through. Idk...im just feeling bummed out about this. I really LOVE my doctor and do not want to switch providers mid program but I just may have to. Thanks for listening
  10. I gained 1lb at my last weigh-in and asked that very question. They physician assistant said they would not deny for that reason.
  11. I first heard of the sleeve in sept...yes...3 months ago..lol. Joined this site Oct 1st and haven't stopped thinking about it. I've watched videos on YouTube...joined facebook groups and search the hashtag #vsg on Instagram daily. Some would say I'm obsessed, but I just wanna do all my research. I've even read medical journals at my hospital when I go to work. Unfortunately I also have to do the 6 month supervised weight loss...so I won't be sleeved til the end of March 2015.
  12. Can't wait for that day! Congrats girlie!
  13. I'm so glad someone else understands me. It's so easy for women to say "have more confidence" ...but the truth is, the percentage of GOOD men who like big women is really low. Thin women can lack confidence and still get quality men. But...that's just the way it is. I'm tired of yo-yoing with my weight. Can't wait to be sleeved and healthy.
  14. If you're not into more meds...you can use tea tree oil suppositories in the vagina...works like a charm. You can get them on Amazon.
  15. Congrats to you both! Way to start off the new year.
  16. It was only a suggestion. Do what you want. They'll support you or lose your business.
  17. Good luck with everything. Prayers for post op healing with no complications.
