  1. Mine is 10/29 at 1pm
  2. Amylynns, when is your surgery?
  3. Yay Beni! Great news!
  4. Wow, I am really glad I found this group! All of this information is so helpful and is really going to be beneficial! I am feeling a bit overwhelmed today. Work is crazy and the next couple weeks preparing for surgery with the pre-op diet and appointments and blood work and everything else has my head spinning. Maybe I am overly sensitive today but I feel like either screaming or bursting out in tears or both! Ugh...I can get through this!
  5. We don't have to do any sort of 'cleanse' the night before?
  6. I hate mine too but for now it keeps me breathing at night. So I deal with it. I can't wait for the day when I don't need it anymore!!
  7. Lol! Goodnight! Glad I found this app and people that get what I am going through! ????
  8. Hospital ice chips are the best!!
  9. I'm doing ok on the new meds so far. The leg cramps were horrible. I am so glad that has stopped!
  10. I'm supposed to be in 4 days. Surgery is on avWednesday and if all goes as planned I am supposed to go home on that Saturday.
  11. I agree Beni! We need ice chips to get us to the afternoon. Ugh...I want an earlier surgery time.
  12. I have asthma and I had to get my meds changed because the medication I have been taking for 25+ years is an extended release med and we can't take those after surgery. I had the worst withdrawal for about 5 days. It was horrible! Headache, so tired and major leg cramps. The things we have to do to get ready for our new lives!
  13. I know what you mean! That is a long time to wait. Have they told you about any prep the day/night before?
  14. My surgery is at 1pm...ugh. I wish it was early in the morning. I know I am going to be stressing all day that day. I am also getting a hiatal hernia fixed at the same time as my bypass. I hope that won't add any additional recovery time.
  15. Thank you! It's coming up quick! I'm really starting to get a bit nervous.
  16. I am October 29th!
  17. My surgery is scheduled for 10/29 and I am feeling the same way. My pre-op diet starts on Monday and trying to figure out everything is getting very overwhelming. I am excited and nervous all at the same time.
