You all got this. I was in the same boat exactly 2 weeks ago, scared out of my mind. Everything went so much better than I thought. Best of luck.

30 lbs is awesome. What do you think is causing the fatigue? I'm 2 weeks out and I'm also fatigued, especially if I am too active the day before.

No. I have yet to vomit. I had difficulty getting in more than 25 ounces for the first few days.

Anyone else?
Never thought I'd look forward to 2 ounces of pureed tuna...

Hey there. How are you doing? When are you getting discharged?

I hear that. I was sleeved on November 4th. I had my follow up with the surgeon today. He said everything looks good. Said I can move to puree when I get 64 ounces of liquid in for 2 days straight. I'm really struggling with 40. Although, I got in 55 grams of protein today. Otherwise, I feel great. I definitely feel hunger at times, although not a whole day. I went back to work yesterday, at 1 week. I've been sleeping better and able to sleep more on my side. Never thought I'd look forward so much to 2 ounces of pureed tuna....

Gastric Sleeve Tom. Morn. (11/11/19) - Advice?
Hey. Another male sleever here (as of 11/4). I was really scared and anxious, but it went so much better than I thought. First few days are not the most fun, but I'm sure you're prepared for that. I'm day 6 and feeling so much better. Back to the office tomorrow. Best of luck.

What are your go-to apps?
Hi y'all. 6 days post-op. What are some WL/fitness related apps or technology you use on a regular basis?

I'm amazed you were able to get that much down. At 2 days, I was struggling to get 20 ozs in. I'm at day 5 now and getting closer to 40. I also finished a Greek yogurt today. Took me over an hour...12g of protien...I also made some sugar free instant pudding with skim milk and once ready, added whey protein powerd along with P2B. Easy and tasty way to get 30 grams of protein in.

Nov 15 surgery - Scared beyond belief
Hey there. I just got sleeved on Monday (11/4) at Coral Springs Medical Center with Dr. Wizman. I was scared and anxious out of my mind. Thank G-d, everything went so much better than I expected. It hasn't been a walk in the park, but everything went as well as it could have. Who is your surgeon?

MEN 300-350 LBS WEIGHT LOSS
Great thread. I'm 3 months from 40....just got sleeved on November 4, 2019, weighing in at 301.5 (I'm 5' 9"). HW-316. Like others, I didn't have a set goal weight. I kind of set 199 for myself just because it's been nearly 25 years since I've seen a 1 as the first digit on the scale.

Sounds awful. Glad you stuck up for yourself and so glad to hear you're doing much better. Was getting worried about you.

Thanks. Miserable night trying to get comfortable but feeling a little better this morning. Gas is slowly reducing. Pain is manageable and looking forward to getting better and better. Good luck to all going in today.

So, I was discharged today about noon. I got home and have been pretty uncomfortable most of the day. Been walking when I can but I feel beat. I tried holding off on the pain meds but caved in. Getting enough fluids in has been tough today. The constipation is perhaps the biggest problem today. Looking forward to feeling better tomorrow.

I forgot one important thing. For most of the day, I was very hungry. I was not really prepared for that. The staff told me it was very normal. I just woke up (TMI warning) and urinated 300 ccs which hopefully will get me an early discharge. As I write this, I am physically very hungry. Granted, I haven't eaten any solid food in a few days. Not sure how I'll feel about this in a few days, but for right now, I'm really looking forward to some broth this morning.
