  1. Hi, Who cares how quick or slow it is, so long as you are losing. It may be a longer road for some people to reach their target. So long as we all get there in the end that is all that matters.
  2. Thanks. At least I am not the only one. Maybe I need to get a cat
  3. Hi all, The one thing I was taught as a child was never to waste food and always finish what was on my plate. (Maybe that got me where I was with my weight who knows ) I had my surgery in September as as time has gone on and the band has been adjusted I find almost impossible to eat more than a few mouthfuls, which is a good thing. It does however play on my conscience and I fight with myself to have one more mouthful so as not to waste. You all know what happens then lol. Eating at home is fine, but when I eat out I feel awful leaving the food. I am not asking for advice, I have already resulted to sharing my daughters meal when we eat out. I guess I just wanted to vent LOL. Anyway to all out there, good luck with your journeys and enjoy the little food you can eat
  4. Live and let live is what I say
  5. Hurt like hell the first few times but I guess your bits must toughen up after a while lol
  6. WOW! You look fantastic. Well done.
  7. Well done.......Oh what a feeling right:)
  8. Give it time the true reality will hit sooner than you know it. Good luck
  9. LOL @ Lipstick Lady I liked the last choice LOL
  10. I am five months out from surgery and loving my band. i do get reflux sometimes but I can usually put that down to eating something I wasn't supposed to. When I eat right I don't have any issues at all. I love every new day that the band brings and the challenges I know are still ahead. Good luck with what you decide
  11. Congratulations on your new journey. Good Luck
  12. Dolores, What can I say my friend apart brag away... you deserve it. WTG my friend x
  13. All I can say to that post is wow. What a fantastic way to tell your story. You are amazing and a true inspiration to us all who have just started or in the middle of our weight loss stories. Thanks for the post
  14. Dear Louluch, On my first fill I had 2cc put in and didn't feel anything. It takes time. I had my fourth fill yesterday and am on liquids so can't tell yet, but the only thing I can say is after my third fill I could still eat but I had to eat a lot slower. Be patient it's a long road and one that will test your patients
  15. Dear ebreeze, I would suggest if you can't see a Dr closer to home then you need to make the journey to your original Dr. Don't leave it, pain is not normal and you need to take care to make sure you are ok.
  16. Not really moved this week but starting my exercise plan tomorrow an hour a day keeps the fat away. I hope
  17. OMG @loser2014. I feel like you were telling my story lol. I was banded in September too and had exactly the same problem, 14 pounds down straight away and then nothing absolutely nothing until I reached 8 weeks. I am also 20 pounds down as of this morning. Also your points 1-4 are so me too. Looks like we are on this road together, good luck with the rest of your journey
  18. @Rebeccaabrooks86 Thanks so much for your help I found it.
  19. Thanks I have just downloaded My fitness Pal and I can see the food tracking but where do you enter the exercise part?
  20. Thanks all I will work on my exercise as my December target instead of looking at weight loss. Are there any tools you use for this or apps to keep track of how much you have done?
  21. I am trying to but to be perfectly honest not everyday and not to much. Is that the solution then up my exercise ?
  22. Still 212. Not sure what I am doing wrong
  23. Well done it will get easier with time.
  24. Good luck with the liquid diet.
