  10. Thank you for all of your thoughts. I tried again today but failed. Not giving up though. I just wish I had support from more ppl around me. On a side note, I have made contact with my nutritionist and going to hopefully talk with her soon

  12. Thank you so much for responding.. It means a lot. I know there's not a simple answer or fix but some of what you said I will definitely try!
  13. Hey everyone, I've been really struggling for a couple of months now. I'm 11mos out and between 30-40 lbs to goal. Things in my life have been getting increasingly more stressful and last week I totally fell off the food wagon! I'm angry, frustrated, disappointed in myself, etc...etc... I've been falling back to old habits- sneaking food, binging and all I'm thinking about again. I feel like I can't stop! Everyone in my life that I told about this have just gotten mad at me and goes on and on about how I am screwing up and disgusting that I would let this happen. I need my mind back in the right place. I know what I need to do but how do I get back on that path in my mind??
  14. I use/eat ice all the time. No probs!
  15. I use fitness pal to track my daily food intake. Is there anywhere that I can find out approximately how much fat, sodium, etc. that I should be getting and/or the maximum amount? I'm trying to get my diet on track. I'm either not eating enough or ending up with what I'm assuming is too much fat, sodium, etc.
  16. I'm 5 months out, have lost 80lbs since surgery. I've been a bit discouraged with much slower loss and my life has been extremely stressful lately. I'm finding myself using food again. I'm not eating bad things, but more than I should at night when I actually get a chance to sit down. Its scaring me that my mind is even going in this direction!! Please, any ideas, support, etc would be extremely appreciated!
  17. In my experience it's normal. I was averaging ¹/2 cup per meal for a good while. I'm 3 mos out now and the max I am able to eat per meal is about 1 cup, usually a little less
  18. I do all the time. Doc said was fine as long as sugar free
  19. Hi all. I hear a lot about using plain yogurt in making a variety of foods. I'm still learning how to broaden my options and would love some variation. I'm 4 weeks post op and still on pureed. Any suggestions? Thanks!
  20. I felt the same way! Remember why you started the process and try to focus on how great you will feel moving forward! Easier said than done...I know. Good luck and congratulations!

  22. Not sure where you live but Walgreen's sells adult liquid Tylenol. My doc recommended. I managed with heating pad though and didn't need it.
