  1. I'm not going to miss having NO energy!!! I mean I don't feel like doing anything because I don't have ANY ENERGY!!!! It's quite frustrating!
  2. I know nothing about better than bullion. The only broth I've ever had plain was swanson chicken. I've cooked with their veggie broth. It's 15 cals 480 sodium
  3. I got it at Giant. It makes 28 cups so I figured $4.50 wasn't too bad.
  4. The pics won't take clearly on my cheap phone lol.... It's beef stock, maltodextrin, sea salt, yeast extract, natural flavors, tapioca starch, salt, vegetable stock (carrot, celery, and onion stocks),beef fat, xanthan gum, natural beef flavor, work juice concentrate, dried beef stock, spices. It comes in beef, chicken, and veggie.
  5. I think that I won't feel what you feel until after surgery. Right now I'm looking forward to not being physically able to eat copious amounts of food. At this point I can eat what I want but I don't want much of anything. My fear is that post op those feelings will be so strong that I could sabotage myself. At the sane time, my consolation is that I'm AWARE of the feelings and I'll probably be able to identify and fix it before it get out of hand.
  6. I was getting the Thai ginger broth to see if I like it and I saw this too so I picked it us as well. You add 2 tbsp to 1 cup of Water for 15 calories. Has anyone tried it before?
  7. You are not obligated to give any personal health information. I wouldn't worry about putting it on the form. It's none of their business and it clearly doesn't effect your job performance or they probably wouldn't be hiring you permanently. Your health information is protected so they can't even go behind your back and find out with out serious consequences.
  8. And I just made an appointment with my mamma to have her take measurements and pics before I start the pre-op torture .... I mean diet I'll do it again the day before surgery then try for once a month!
  9. @@RedSalamander Do you put those in premixed shakes?
  10. I'm not the biggest fan if crystal light so I decided to buy the sugar free hawiian punch version. It's a bit too sweet if I mix it how they say so I leave it watered down some. I also use it in addition to concetrated Proteins because they need HELP! LOL I was just wondering if any of you has another kind that you like. What's your favorite?
  11. @Elode. What's a PPI and, because apparently I missed this in all my research, whats a bougie
  12. Just Fab doesn't have an actual membership fee. It's frustrating if you forget to shop the mint but they usually send an email reminder. At least if you don't skip you can still use your money for shoes and not just lose it to them with nothing in return.
  13. This is the one thing I worry about! BUT my booty has been big all my life. Can't imagine it really going away. My surgery date is 10 Feb and the moment my doc clears me I'll be right back to square...sumo squats with kettle a bell.....leg lifts.....all of that!! I might even squat my eat out of his office
  14. Yup! Dehydration. I had this same problem during pregnancy and was told to drink gatorade as well as water. (I had a hard time drinking water at the time).
  15. And I answered your question wrong. Between getting the appropriate al call and getting an actual date, 2 days. My surgery is 10 Feb I have to do a 4 week pre-op diet.
  16. Thanks Alese! I'll check with my local VS and see if they carry it.
  17. Just be glad it's not 21 days! I think I'm prepared but it sure seems like forever!!
  18. I'm no shrink but suggesting such an extreme procedure to your doctor would make me think an eating disorder of some sort is evolving. But at the same time, a doctor that would suggest a diet so low in calories for a whole year would make me call his ethics into question....I certainly hope you do a lot more research (even research another doc) before you make your final decision. Be blessed
  19. @@mdlange thank you!
  20. Listen...my Psych needed a Psych and I needed another one to deal with dealing with him Long story short, if your psych has done this kind of evaluation before you shouldn't have any issues! Mine had not and it took him 4 visits and a call to my nutritionist to figure out that I'm not a nutcase....one more visit and I would have been committed!
  21. @@Elode the first 20!
  22. Where do you find the nectar one? I'd like to try one that isn't chocolate or vanilla.....or milky tasting. So far pocket protein and new whey are the only ones I've found. But they are super concentrated protein shots and I have to mix them with water and my crystal light.
  23. Take a look at foodaddicts.org. maybe if there is a support group near you you can try them out. Most if not all of us have some sort of addiction to food. I went to a meeting and found it very helpful. Another good tool to aid in the process.
