  1. I didn't know how much it was. I'm guessing my NUT doesn't know either since she got it for free. But everybody had great thing to say about Genepro so maybe I'll try that one. She recommended Unjury but I've not heard good things about the taste.
  2. Unfortunately the Psych doctor is holding me up. I wish I would have chosen a different doctor for that. He has never done this kind of eval before and even though I gave him a document from my surgeon that outlines all he needs to do, he still has questions. SMH! But I saw him today and told him that he is the last part needed and that we were trying to submit by the end of the week. Hopefully that will get him going. Still praying for a January date. I pray you get your date soon!! Keep us posted!
  3. I was given a little pouch of Pocket Protein by my Nutritionist the other day. It's only 15 mg of protein. I tried it straight out of the pack and it was ok. Kind of tasted like liquid Jell-o to me. It was too sweet for me though, so I put it in my Water like I would my crystal light and it was much better. it has to be super cold though. Has anyone else tried Pocket Protein? If so, How did you like it?
  4. Girrrrrrlllll!!!!! ???????????? congratulations! I love to see this kind of transformation. Keeps me focused on doing right before the surgery! Thanks for sharing!!!!!
  5. Where did you find the pro source liquid protein? I found one called New whey it's hard to get down because it's kind if thick but my nutritionist told me to mix it with my Water. One tube of that is 42g. I haven't tried that yet but I might try it tomorrow and post a little review.
  6. 3 day!!! ???????? lucky you! Mine will be 4 weeks!
  7. I'm allowed one regular meal a day (high protein no carbs) and that helps but I have 2 shakes before and 2 after and if I feel hungry between I drink water with crystal lite or some no/low cal sugar free drink mix. I'm not officially on the pre op diet but I needed to do it for me now so I'm not feeling like I'm forced to do it when the time comes.
  8. Thanks! I'm going to try it out. I've heard so much about gene pro but I can get this without waiting for it to come in the mail.
  9. Has any body used Unjury unflavored protein? I. Wondering if it is good to put in soups without changing the taste. It's sold at the pharmacy where my surgeon is and the Nutritionist recommended it.
  10. I'm waiting for my psych eval to be submitted so they can submit everything for insurance approval. But in the mean time I have decided to put myself on the pre-op diet (mine is 4 weeks) to help me lose some weight before surgery. I started Monday and as of Thursday I lost 8 lbs!!
  11. I have always weighed myself first thing in the morning after I use the bathroom and usually naked. I also try to make doctors appointments in the morning and usually wear the same type of clothing so it's consistent. Lol
  12. something like this would be my everyday once I get the weight off. It's the old me. The more confident me. I miss being that girl! She's on her way back though!
  13. Congratulations! Praying for you!
  14. Congratulations! Yeah I've heard a lot about the stalls. Scary but I think the NSVs are a lot more fun to see. Especially since I don't really like to weigh myself. Lol
  15. Alright now sexy lady! ???? toot your horn! You worked for it!!! Start of summer????where are you?
  16. Hey!!! Awesome!!! Congratulations on your surgery! How are you doing?
  17. Listen, I'm still pre-op and three shots of patron over 2 hours would do me in ????????????so if you can do 8 shots over 2 hours you're good! Lol!!! Maybe I'm a lightweight...lol
  18. I have a three year old. My logic with the surgery is this, is the risk of dying from surgery greater than the risk of dying from something I could have prevented? And is it worth the rush of surgery to make quality if life better for both of us? I want him to know that j tried and not that I just let myself die behind something I could have prevented.
  19. @ you are HILARIOUS!!!! This is totally something I would do and where I used to work we did stuff like this all the time! I love it!!!
  20. Absolutely @@Fatdiva14!! Reading this makes me more excited for the change!
