  1. I am too @Idahospud. Tomorrow is the last little final touches. Pajama party tonight. Finding liquid vitamins was hard but I pick them up tomorrow. Doing all my housework.. cleaning my car out. Just everything to keep busy. I promised to shut off my eletronics tomorrow night and have a little me time before surgery ♡♡ self love♡♡
  2. Ugh, biscuits are my weakness. My family is suffering. No starches! Baked lean meats, more veggies and soup please. My kids are complaining
  3. leenieceymic1, I made onion soup using dry packages. Bouillon cubes for chicken, beef, vegetables, or garlic and onion soups. I used these two weeks to taste everything I could possibly have post surgery. These are my favorites..
  4. Hi @@KristenLee I was reviewing others list of things to pack. I took notice of pajamas, chap stick, laptop or cell phone (avoid visitors). I'm from Miami, Fl. I believe the stay is 2 days.
  5. I'm the 30th. So I definitely will be AWAKE AWAITING ON ANY WORD FROM YOU ALL SLEEVING ON THE 29TH
  6. Good morning. I'm 3 days away from my surgery date.. food wise, I doubt if I'm at 1000 a day. We must stay strong to get through these last few days
  7. I was looking forward to one last glass of wine before this surgery.. I'm guessing I should've enjoyed it 3 weeks ago Lol.
  8. So excited til I've lost the desire to have the shakes now. I know that's bad, my mom is on my butt and a few of my friends are as well. Only two people know the actual procedure I'm having. Mom and my bestie. Before pictures are being taken this weekend so end my unhealthy days. I'm over excited for us all.
  9. @@CherieRyde please keep us posted. Praying for your health to be restored
  10. Wow, it seems you all are having similar effects. I had my pre ops yesterday surgery on Tuesday. A little nervous which I expect but DEFINITELY TAKING NOTES
  11. Ladies, the 2 week pre op diet is more to prepare you for such a small intake after the procedure. Of course it helps to shrink the liver amongst clean out the system. I suffer from migraine headaches. The hunger was a instant killer for me. I turned into a total grouch. Found myself walking more to relieve my stress, drinking more fluids, which actually helped me lose 10lbs now before my surgery on Tuesday September 30. The liquid is no longer a challenge its an automatic meal. I make my own soups now which are twice as better as I thought they would be
  12. I would like more information about this Mexico surgeon.. how can I find more information??
  13. *Lexie* how are you doing..... I pray all is well on your journey to being a healthier and happier YOU
  14. Good morning and HAPPY SLEEVE DAY
  15. I appreciate everyone sharing their individual experiences. It somewhat put ease to what's unexpected and unanswered. I was told not to bring any clothing. I would prefer my own jammys to walk around the hospital :-( ok my checklist is complete. Almost feels like I'm packing for a labor delivery date. Lol.
  16. My expected surgery time said 330pm. As of registration the 1030 was not yet approved by their insurance. It is highly possible I could have the 1030am time. I will know for sure on Monday. :-)
  17. Yes hi @@Nurselori I am hanging in there. Pre registration done this morning. I'm almost done.
  18. Yay, I got my call today @730am to come in for pre registration @10am. I met my staff for that day and signed all documents! Ready to go...
  19. Good morning. Thank goodness for good health. Are you sore or any weakness?
  20. Thank you both for posting updates. Very glad to read thst your procedures were successful
  21. Great, I can't wait to read.. on to a happier, healthier YOU @@Cin's Awesome Sauce and @@Jon1111
  22. Don't let the diet make you feel discouraged. Try monitoring the amount of your intake as well. My nutritionist pointed out the importance of quantity after the procedure to prevent complications. This may help you before the procedure as well. Also keeping busy, don't think so much on diet concept. I'm on a 2 week liquid diet. My surgery is September 30. Mentally I struggled the first few days. I eventually found "something" (4 oz of bland mashed potatoes) that holds me over. My one meal a day.
