  10. Self pay - $28k in Ohio by an excellent surgeon at a Center of Excellence. My dr makes his self pay patience follow the 3 month NUT, see psychologist, all the lab work, etc. I was not offered the complication insurance. No regrets! Best money I have ever spent!

  15. 7 months out and down 135lbs. So happy with my new life!
  16. I am down 128lbs and 6 months out. Another 30 and I will be at my personal goal (I've met Dr. Goal at 120). I rode Water slides yesterday at Disney for the first time in 12 years! Love my new life!!
  17. My insurance does not cover WLS. Only thing it paid for was one blood work. It sucks bc 30k out of pocket is a lot of money but it is what it is.
  18. Wanting better life - same here! People always ask me how I feel. I feel amazing. I thought I felt amazing before but nope this is a wonderful feeing.

  20. I'm almost 6 months out. I'm just generally a happier person now. I get that comment often from people now how happy and glowing I seem. I also must say my confidence has gone up a ton. I am willing to try new things. I walk around in my house with shorts and sports bra. I am more sociable and enjoy doing things now. I love shopping!! I'm so grateful for my sleeve.
