  1. I am probably not the one to ask but I got some premier protein bars that have 30 g of protein but have more carbs than i'd normally consume, that also boosted my appetite which I needed because food repulsed me and made me gag. Some people add berries. When I cut out some artificial sweeteners in things that helped too.
  2. I think I have to agree, my anxiety is better since I raised my carbs, I thought I was seriously having a nervous breakdown.
  3. I will be thinking of you, dint be afraid to ask for help.I actually went to the er because I thought I was having a nervous breakdown with depression anxiety couldn't eat or sleep
  4. I knew depression was possible but never dreamt it would be this bad and never thought about the insane anxiety. Not trying to scare you, you may be just fine, I'm just being real because I never read anything like this pre op. Thank you for the prayers I will do the same.
  5. @TWIRPO75 GOSH THAT SOUNDS SO MUCH LIKE ME, I TAKE MELATONIN BUT IT DOESN'T HELP ME TO sleep LATER. THE BEST TWO NIGHT SLEEP I GOT WERE OVER THE WEEKEND WHEN I TOOK A WHOLE NAUSEA PILL PLUS THE ANXIETY PILL. MY MORNING ACTUAL NAUSEA HAS SUBSIDED BUT I STILL HAVE THAT WEIRD FEELING AND FEEL LIKE CRAP. I'M SURPRISED I CAN ACTUALLY MAKE MYSELF GET READY FOR WORK FEELING LIKE THAT. HOW FAR OUT ARE YOU??????????
  6. I had my surgery on January 15th. I did good at first then one day I lost my appetite and got depressed. I have dealt with the depression, not wanting to eat, repulsion for food, insomnia, and worst of all anxiety. I feel your pain. I would drop to my knees on my couch or my bed and pray and beg God to help me feel better because I couldn't handle the depression and anxiety. I couldn't even go to work, I needed help. The depression has gone away for the most part in the last week. I still have anxiety in the mornings. I don't know why. Although I'm not necessarily depressed now, I'm still pretty quiet for whatever reason. It has my family worried especially since they don't know about my surgery. I guess if I were you I would try an anti-depressant (hard for me to do but I did, then stopped after a week because I felt better and it didn't have time to take effect anyway), I would add Benefiber to at least one drink per day, I would take a gas x strip once a day, and cut out some of the fake sugars in anything that you are consuming. It seems to have helped me with all but the anxiety. I had to make myself eat. Believe me, I know how hard it is to try to swallow something while gagging it back up. But I did it and hated every minute of it, but I'm finding the more real food I eat the better it has been getting. I ate a pure Protein bar which has way more carbs than I'd prefer but my appetite kinda took off after that. My appetite has somewhat returned and I have been eating so much better since then, that was 4 days ago. I am thinking about you and I will pray for you. Please please please keep us updated on how you are doing. We are here for you.
  7. @BLERDGIRL I didn't have anxiety before. I do have a prescription now which I take right before bed hoping that it will help. But I wake up really early and the nervousness, anxiety, and worry sets in about anything and everything. I absolutely hate it. I can't wait to go to bed at night because I'm really tired but I dread waking up so badly.
  8. 10 WEEKS OUT, I USUALLY BRUSH MY TEETH AND HAVE SOME Water FIRST. BUT I ALREADY FEEL BAD WHEN I WAKE UP. IT USUALLY TAKES A LITTLE WHILE BEFORE I CAN STAND TO HAVE A Protein DRINK OR EGG. I DONT NECESSARILY HAVE NAUSEA I JUST FEEL QUEASY OR SOMETHING. I CAN'T EXPLAIN IT I JUST FEEL BAD FOR THE FIRST FEW HOURS OF THE DAY.
  9. SO SOME OF MY ISSUES HAVE SUBSIDED, BUT EVERY SINGLE MORNING I STILL HAVE ANXIETY AND JUST FEEL ALL AROUND JUST BAD. I DON'T START FEELING BETTER UNTIL ABOUT 9 AM AND I WAKE UP BEFORE 5 AUTOMATICALLY. DOES ANYONE EXPERIENCE THESE ROUGH MORNINGS? THANKS
