Hi Ashley! I am 22 as well and will be 23 in September. I had my surgery 11/10/14. We are definitely the youngins of this form but it's never too early to change your life. have you gotten your surgery date yet?

You're doing amazing! I had my surgery 11/10/14. My HW was 436 DOS:417 and I am down to 280lbs. Definitely have had some stalls but weight loss is picking up again. Do you by any chance have a fit bit? I just got one yesterday and I love it. It's really motivating.

I had Dr. Fitzer too! He is amazing and I truly believe he is the best surgeon in the area. Time will go by fast:) I was super anxious too! How is your pre-op diet going?

It will get better! The first month was the hardest for me. I'm almost 6 months post op and still have trouble meeting my 64oz of water but everything else is going pretty smoothly. I hope you feel better!

I will be six months post op on May 11th. HW:436 day of surgery:417 today: 305lbs. I was huge. I've had a few weeks where I barely lost any weight but nothing major. Exercising has helped my weight loss tremendously! Weeks I don't exercise I only lose a few lbs and when I do exercise I lose around 7lbs a week. how's everything going for you so far?

Hi Morgan! Have you looked up the 5 day pouch test? I've read a lot about that and people have had great results with it. You should check it out! good luck with everything. You can do this!

That's amazing! I had my RNY surgery on November 11, 2014 starting weight was 436 day of surgery I was 417 and today I am down to 312.

That's awesome! I may try that for a few weeks. I just moved out on my own with my bf so I'm still adjusting and really bad about preparing meals etc. I'm glad your surgery went well.

Hey guys, I'm 22 from VA and my surgery date is November 11th. Right now I am having trouble staying focused on my pre-diet. Does anyone have suggestions on what to eat etc? My dietician just said eat healthier and practice not drinking while eating but I would like to know what you guys have been doing for your pre diets. Also I would love to connect with people around my age. -Leah

I'm having a lot of trouble staying focused and have to lose 20lbs before November comes. What was your pre-diet like? Also if you don't mind me asking who is your surgeon? I will be having my second dietician visit on Wednesday! I am scheduled for surgery on November 11th. How did your first month go? I haven't really been super focused yet until I realized my surgery is in 70 days.
