  1. We must have started around the same time..I started in March and my surgery date is set for Oct. 15th. You will do great! I think it's just hard not knowing exactly what to expect. People are about to tell you their experiences and what not, but everyone is different
  2. I'm having gastric bypass on Oct. 15th and have soo many questions... #1- How soon have you guys started to drive? I am a single parent and normally do everything on my own. I'm in the process of trying to figure out how long I will need someone's help getting them to and from daycare during the week. #2-What should I expect during the time that I am in the hospital?
  3. Yes this is normal. While you are in surgery they fill you with air to help be able to see things a little better. Your body is just trying to get out whatever is left.
  4. That is very exciting! You will do great! I just found out as well on Friday that my surgery date is set for Oct. 15th!
