  1. I was banded 12/07 and have lost about 35 lbs. Very slow
  2. I have 2.4 in a 4 cc band. pretty tight. I'm hoping its my sweet spot. i can hardly get anything down. lost 4 lbs in 2 days. I'm a very slow weight loss person so I hope this is it.
  3. I'm in bay city, mi. I had mine at Mclaren in flint on 12/19/07
  4. I was filled yesterday and I'm pretty tight. I can't hardly get anything but mashed potatoes down or I shoot it right back out of my mouth. ddon't drink and eat at the same time. that's what makes me bring it back out of my mouth. its not vomiting cause its just the liquid that I haven't even swallowed.
  5. hey--I was banded on 12/19/07. you have lost way more weight than me.. any suggestions?
  6. I feel the same way. I have lost 20 since12/19 when I was banded. I have had 3 fills and I'm always still hungry and I gained 2 lbs. I don't know what to do? I need to get to the sweet spot so I can really loose.
  7. is it normal to loose fluid between fills? my doc emptied my fluid yesterday and when i was previously filled i had 1.65cc. when he emptied it there was only 1.4cc. he said that is normal. does anyone else have that problem?
  8. don't worry,,, you don't have any restriction yet. I've had 1.65 cc in my band and am still hungry all the time. they say you will hit a "sweet spot". and the weight will start coming off and you won't feel so hungry all the time. I can't wait for that. give your self time to adjust to the band and healing before worring about weight loss.
  9. Well I was banded 12/19/07. I have had 2 fills. I feel just as "fat" as the day I was banded. Dr. Says I have lost 11#. I don't have a scale at home so I go by how my pants feel.. which is not very good. I'm always hungry still and I don't know if that feeling will ever go away so I don't feel it all the time. I have some restriction but the hunger pains are always there. did anyone else feel this way? or does the band not work for me? help>
  10. I feel the same way...
  11. I know how you feel .I was banded on 12/19 and Had my 1st fill on 1/30 and no restriction still. I am very discouraged. people said it takes up to 2-4 fills before you feel restriction. I have another fill next week. I'll keep you posted.
  12. I was banded on 12/19 Ihad my first fill yesterday. I have only lost 11 pounds since surgery. I am very discouraged.
  13. I am from bay city, Michigan.
  14. I'm 32 and was banded on 12/19/07. I had no previous health problems and healed very quickly. I will have my first fill on 1/29. I am looking forward to it because I really don't have restriction right now. I don't think I'm getting in enough protein. I need to try harder with that.
  15. wow... I guess everyone is different for sure..... I can eat anything. I hardly feel full. I must be doing something wrong or not enough protein.
