  12. Omg! Some nerve people have. You got her good!!!
  13. Hi you mentioned that V8 may cause irritation to the tummy... Do you think it may make a difference if I dilute the juice with water to reduce acid? I brought a bottle today for prepping for post op. What do you think?
  14. I agree with you and really don't like ones that are screwed to the floor. Yikes!

Just a thought... @Grandom tweeties congrats for n your surgery! How time flies and now on the mend! 16. My daughter was right.... she told me that awhile ago and was not sure of it.
  17. Here's to a healthier life! You look great!!
  18. It's just my 17 year old daughter and husband, they agreed to cook for themselves especially seafood which I don't like. Just for a few weeks and when my other kids come around I'll cook! It'll be hard at first. Surgery on the 30th.
  19. I had my pretesting done today. They drew blood for labwork, Ekg and lots of questions. The preop diet is the day before surgery. I don't understand why many people have weeks of liquid diet? Every place is different....I guess reality is drawing near. Still have to get my shakes and powders.
  20. You are right, complex carbs is good any day however the bad carbs are not but if you want that potato so have it in the morning. Not every morning! Just sparingly. That is all I am saying.....
  21. Why? Because for some we have higher energy in the first half of the day and we are likely to burn the carb calories faster in mornings. Also from the time we have our dinners to the time we wake up it's a good jump start for the day. I am not saying we have to gorge on carbs but get better use for it if we eat a fruit or have that potato with an egg? Or Cereal? I am not a dietician but I have been told that by a Nutrionist. It makes sense.
  22. I think the best time to have carbs is in the morning and till lunch.
  23. That is so great. 2 weeks is my surgery.....
  24. I am beginning to wonder if some people get severe nausea after the procedure particularly here and another guy who has been in and out of ER. Maybe a new syndrome when it comes to nausea?? When I was pregnant years ago I had nauseous reaction to certain food and smells so there maybe a likely chance I may have a nausea experience. Hmm makes me think.....
