  1. That's so amazing!!! I'm so excited for you. Thank you for the inspiration! Keep us posted on your progress. Officially losing from here on out... Yay for us!
  2. Hey everyone!! December 1st is just around the corner and that means we are all getting CLOSE to surgery! This is mostly exciting - with a few nerves mixed in! I start my liquid pre op on dec 19th ( surgery jan 9th.) but getting serious about my water intake and Adkins diet starting Monday the 1st. Anyone want to join me and get some encouragement/accountability going? Support is going to be SO vital from here on out. It's getting real...
  3. Congrats on setting a date!! I found "premier protein" to be delicious and affordable ( choc flavor.) can be bought in bulk @ Costco and pre made for an easy 30g protein!! I think it's safe to say we are all a bit apprehensive about liquid dieting! However, I tell myself it's SO worth it! Stay positive and make sure and write in for encouragement in the low times.
  4. Don't stress!!! It's the worst for weightloss. Follow the plan, it works! I haven't talked to one person who hasn't had success with it. Even if your loss is slow during Adkins phase the liquid phase will have the weight coming off! Your gonna do great! Trust the process and go for it!
  5. No, I learned the guidelines, what's needed and doing my own. So spendy from them!
  6. Yay!! Congrats! I leave for home the 12th ( jan 9th surgery @ OCC) wish you all the best!!
  7. Im not allowed to gain ( lost 7lbs since booking surgery!) and start protein/greens on dec 19th! Haven't booked flights yet. Will next week. Hubby is coming with me!
  8. Yay!!! How great! So good to know someone is on the same timeline. How's pre op going? When do you start liquids?
  9. Yes, arriving late though.
  10. I'm scheduled January 9th! Our paths might cross?

  12. Of course! That's so awesome! How are you doing?
  13. Great! How are you doing/feeling? Thinking about starting a small support group locally if you are interested...once a month.
  14. Kate! How are you feeling/doing? I think personal support face to face is so important (for me at least!) I'd love to get a group going...
  15. Hi! I'm 26 and being sleeved on jan 9th of 2015! I have a daughter. You are not giving up! Your empowering your weight loss dream with an amazing tool. I had all those feelings as well. But the more I researched and spoke to post op people the more I realized how much I wanted what they had. As moms of young kids we have so much life yet to live. Let's do it feeling/looking good! Best of luck to you!
  16. How awesome! So your post op?
  17. I live on the eastside as well! Would love to connect with local people. I'm a self pay so having surgery at OCC in Tijuana with Dr Ariel Ortiz in January 9th.
  18. Wondering if there are any pre/post op Seattle sleevers out there? I'm pre op but scheduled for surgery in early January. Would love to connect with a local group.
  19. I'm scheduled for jan 9th! No 2015 forum yet. Bummer...
  20. Hi everyone! I'm scheduled for my sleeve at OCC January 8th 2015! I'm so excited! Read this entire thread and it's really helping me feel so confidant in my decision! Keep posting, it makes all the difference for those of us pre op.
  21. That's so great! Thank you! I'm Already watching my intake and kicking my butt at the gym to be as strong as possible for surgery. 235 now but hoping to lose 10-20 pre op. I pray this is the solution to my body's issue with weight! I feel hope for the first time and completely on board with the process. I realize everyone's journey is different, always scary until you know what yours is.
  22. Hi everyone! Having surgery in a couple months here and super curious about those of you who had right around 90-100lbs to lose. How was your progress and timeframe for hitting goal or close to it??? Love to get some feedback!
