  1. YESSSSS!! It's challenging. I bought un flavored protein and add it to the broth. Really helps! Tad of lemon in my water helps me drink it easier. And just stay BUSY. window shop for "Someday clothes." I find if I'm idle I just want to snack and feel annoyed and down.
  2. I will be two weeks post op and hopefully attend!
  3. Anyone struggling with water intake? It's def my hardest battle!! Water in large amount makes me nauseous. THE CURE??? Lemon juice!! Add a few drops ( or several! ) to your water bottle. It's refreshing and way more enjoyable to drink, without costing you calories. I'm also not a fan of artificial sweeteners...I've been downing water really well and feel great afterward. Thought I'd share. ????

  5. I have surgery on a Friday too ( jan 9th) my return flights are booked for the following Monday afternoon. ( 12th) Happy to let you know how it goes! However, I fly home to Seattle - only 2 1/2hr direct flight.

  11. I agree about the shakes being culprit! Listerine is a great idea. Thx! Water is so tough for me in large amounts. Always been a weakness. Working on that!

  15. Steadily moving towards total change. Rumbling tummy for sure and bad breath! Yuck. Thank goodness gum is still ok. Standing on the scale in the morning, ( weekly weigh in.) hate it but need the reminder and encouragement to keep pushing towards pre op goals! One month until surgery!

  21. I'm a January 9th sleever!! Pre op starts tomorrow - I do Adkins until dec 19th then full liquids and greens until surgery. So ready!!
  22. We just got my daughters ( non expedited.) and had it back within three weeks. I think you'll be ok! They require your travel dates on the application to let them know when you need it.
  23. Let remember to be very GOOD about our vitamins and water!!! It's so important to give our bodies what it NEEDS pre op!
