  21. I was sleeved Aug 11 and feel so great! I am now eating regular food and haven't had any issues. It seems crazy that I had this surgery only 5 weeks ago- definitely a turn around from the 1st week regrets I had!
  22. I wonder why some surgeons do drains and others don't. I also didn't have drains and from reading posts I am so glad I didn't have them
  23. I'm 5 weeks post op tomorrow and I finally came out of my 2 1/2 week stall this last Thursday and it's like everyone says the weight starts falling off again so hang in there!
  24. I am 5 weeks post op tomorrow and my scale finally started moving this last Thursday after a 2 1/2 week stall! even though I understood the whole physiology of the stall it still totally sucked to have the scale not even move an ounce!! I did a little happy dance this Thursday when I was down and it has continued to move everday. so hopefully your stall will be over in the next week also
  25. I am an August 11th sleever and now that I'm eating more regular food that feeling of hunger is going away I'm starting to feel like a normal person eating again lol my scale also started moving again once I introduced more regular food into my day! that 2 1/2 week stall was tough!!
  26. I'm 5 weeks post op tomorrow and you are such an inspiration! !! Great job!
  27. I was also sleeved on Aug 11 I lost 13lbs really quick and then stalled out for 5 days. My scale finally moved 2 more lbs yesterday once I was able to get my calories up to 600 from 450.
  28. I was cleared for soft foods on Monday but I have been afraid to try to many different things. I'm sticking to my Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, eggs and protein drinks- it's getting old but I'm afraid of having a bad food experience!
  29. I too am having more pain on my right side but I think mine is from overdoing it and hurting that muscle. I have been stuck at losing 13lbs- scale hasn't budged in 4 days but I am feeling really good so I need to focus on that
  30. Holy cow I can't believe your process moved so fast!!! I had to go through so many hoops to get approved by Insurance. There is no way I would have been mentally ready that quick and even with the time I took I still have days of doubts. I am sure those will lessen the further out from surgery.
  31. My first week I felt the same. I took my time leading up to surgery and then immediately after surgery I was worried I had made a huge mistake. I think it has to do with mourning the relationship we have always known with food. I am now two weeks post op and I am pain free and tolerating my diet and feel really good about having the surgery
  32. I have been the same the last few days! I hope I am not at a stall two weeks out. I have lost a total of 13lbs since surgery so I am still doing great I just haven't had any big drops since the first week.
  33. I did end up letting mine sit in the fridge after a few drinks but I am definitely going to try the immersion blender! Thanks
