love my band would not trade it for anything

right now iam at 9cc and some times have restriction and some i dont thinking of getting another fill, any one have any suggestions???:cursing:

i would never change the fact that i did this, it the best thing i ever did and wish i would have done years ago, :smile2:

sounds like you had a horible exsperience and that is horrible for a fisrt time fill, my firt three whent well , it was my forth that my doc had a hard time finding the port, i shouldnt say finding it just getting the center of it and a good inseriton into the port, i was a little sore after that one, but it sounds like you finally got some one to do a good fill and i am happy for you,

many times when i am strughling i feel as like i should of had bypass, but when i stop and think about it i know i made the wright choise, no cut and stapling off my insides, and never being able to eat carbs or sugar again, would just kill me, i hear the dummping syndrome is horable and i dont think i would ever want to deal with that, the pbing and slime is bad enuff, just hang in there and all will be well

i have the 10cc vg band and love it, iam at about 9ccs and feel really good hunger is gone i forget to eat somethimes, but when i do i feel there are times i could eat to much, but other times i can't even get more than two bites of tuna fish with lots of mayo down, so going to stay a my current fill for now, untill the weight lose stops, still losing around 2 to 2.5 lbs. a week so feeling good and loving life right now:thumbup:

i am a banned man, and was bannded 12/4/07, and and it was about a week after surgery i was able to feel up to hopping back in to the saddle, but with in a couple of days, my wife was able to pleasure me in different ways :thumbup: if ya know what i mean, and that is better than any pain meds i think:thumbup: but thats just a guys perspective, hope this helps, :w00t:

i had the same problem i have a 10cc band, and right now at about 8-9cc and i had surgery in mexico, and have found a local doc to do my fills and he is very agressive on his mill i have had tree fill, two 3 cc and one 2cc and the last one started at 3cc but i could not smallow my water so he took out 1 cc, and i fell good losing 2 lbs a week, still feel like i could use a half cc, but feel good for now, you just need to get more fill everyone i talked to dose not seem to find the sweet spot untill about 8- 9.5 cc, but i was very frustrated for a while trying to get a good fill, but just keep your head up and try not to get to frustrated, i have been there and it will get better:thumbup:

congrats on that i love my band as well and wish i would have got the money to do it sooner

congrats on the weight loss, i my self just reach my goal of beeing under 300 buy my birth day and the day before i was at 299 hey me and i have not been under 300 for at leaset 5 years, and i have the 10cc ap band and love it, i have 7 cc of fill and all most to my sweet spot but could use a little more gut going to wait a little wile before i go for a nother fill, had a fill about two weeks ago and it was great have good restiction, and things get stuck a lot but if i chew really really good, i can get anything down, but i dont get very hungry between meals so going to weight till the hunger is back, buy best advice is exercise often and eat slow!!!! good luck on you journey

i went to mexico to have my lap band because of the high pricing, but what is this discount i hear about waht is that, and how do i get one:thumbup:

iam a month out of surgery and since day one every time i eat or drink something it seams like i am walking on floors made of ducks, and little barking spiders, the funnest part is to blame it on my wife in public, lol she hates that, but i love to pick on her, and i find it gets to the point i cant control wether the spiders bark or i can wait to leave a room, hope it gets better but just dont feel bad, it happens, and yes even i sh+t my pants two days home from surgery, dont allways trust your farts, lol good luck and stick it out

i was baned on dec 4 in mexico, and the only symtem i have had is the gas pains and shoulder pain, the best thing i found to help is walking i walk around the hospital for two full days and feel great now, hope this helps

I just had surgery yesterday dec 4 and the shoulder pain is uncomfortal but not to bad, i havent even needed any pain med ya for me hope all is well for you:clap2:
