I'm 3 months post op and I'm doing pretty well (30lbs down) but all of a sudden I'm having difficulty keeping food down. At first I thought it was when I was picking up quick fast food but then today, it was eating grilled Egg whites for breakfast and tilapia for lunch. None of it would stay down. But when I ate a pretzel I was just fine. Is anyone having the same response to food?
I am having the same experience. I'm only 3 weeks postop but my doc put me on solids last week. Each day I feel hungrier but when I enter my calories, I'm not eating as many calories as it feels. I do get full but I eat again a few hours later. I'm get more active every day (5 miles walking, back at work, etc....) trying to find filling food where I don't feel like I'm eating as much.
I'm 3weeks postop and I still feel bruised. I know I went back to work (week2) early but I don't have to move around a lot. Does anyone feel like this after 3 weeks?
It took a week + for the gas to go away. 1) gas x is your friend 2) if it's in your shoulder do some arm circles it helps move it in that area and3) keep walking! The gas will pass!! Keep it up
I was (and still am) worried abOut getting the protein in. I bought the protein drink by syntax called Nectar. I like the tropical cool (it tastes like a piña colada). And add water. I use blackberry hint water. It has 23 grams of protein in a scoop. I try to drink 3 a day. Just to help with the protein.
I'm 15 days banded and I'm doing really well. My cycle is about to start and that's when I indulge in sweets. Are there there any suggested "treats" besides jello? I need something to pack for work!
I'm 9 days banded and have been on creamed soups, protein shakes and liquids. But today I have been HUNGRY all day. I'm not trying to cheat but I have to admit I made some mashed potatoes. Is this normal?
