I am 13 days post op and feel great! I have had not issues at all. Dr A and his team are outstanding!!

I did!!!!!!! ????it was a great experience!!

So I had surgery on Nov 6 with Dr Alvarez. I can not explain my joy!!! Dr A and his staff is everything you could ask for!!! I have never had such great care and an easy recovery. I was walked the river walk in San Antonio for 4 hrs day I was released. I am not having any problems getting my fluid in. Dr Alvarez,Jessica and the rest of his staff is the best!!! 20lbs down and I just began!!!

How do you get complication coverage?

I am scheduled with Dr Alvarez on November 6!!!!

I was scheduled sept 25 and back out because of nerves. The lady who was having surgery the same day as I was suppose to went through with her surgery. She said she couldn't be happier!! I can not wait!!

I am scheduled with him on Nov 6. So excited!!

I have rescheduled!!!! I wish I would have never let the nerves get the best of me!! NOV 6 is my day!!!

I am scheduled for Nov 6!! I was originally scheduled for sept 26 but got so scared two days before that I cancelled it!! Wish I wouldn't have cancelled it! I am so ready for this!!

I have postponed my surgery. I mental wasn't ready to risk the complications at this point. I am happy with my decision at this point. When I am ready I will reschedule. In the meantime I will keep you all in my thought and prayers!! Life is good!

I am doing ok. I am still worrying about risking the complications! Suppose to be on a plane in less than 22hrd

I am still thinking about backing out!! I want this but I don't know how bad I want to risk the chance of complications!! If I have complications I will end up in worse health than I am now!! HELP! Have you been here?

Friday is my day!! I am so excited and scared at the same time!!!!! All the what ifs are driving me crazy! What if I just ate less? What if I just exercised more? What if I just ate better? What if I have complications? What if a doctor won't help me in the US if I do have complications? BUT WHAT IF THIS WORKS!!???!!!

Rachell have you seen a doctor yet for the pain? Has it subsided?

I am having surgery September 26 with Dr Alvarez!!

I am on the countdown!! 10 days!!! I start preop diet on Friday!! I think about this surgery all day and night long!! When I first wake in the morning I wake up thinking you don't need this surgery!! You need to eat healthier and exercise more!! Then once I am awake a getting ready for the day it's like I have to face my reality that this is for me!! I need this! My body needs this! My health needs this!!! I pray a lot! Beings that I have to fly for my surgery it has added some nerves. I am going by myself so my husband can stay with the kids and keep them in their routine! My husband and dearest friend are the only two people I have told! I have to just keep praying!!

I need a support group. My husband is the only person who I have talked to about this. He is very supportive but I would like to expand my support group with people who have been in my shoe or are currently there!!
