  1. The nurse had me stop at the bathroom on the way to the OR, because they didn't want to have to put one in. I was worried about it too, as this was my first major surgery.

  4. Yeah...they put you on a liquid (and raw veggies) diet based on your BMI. Everyone who goes through this program is required to be on it for at least 2 weeks, and it goes up by 2 weeks for each level of BMI...40-50, 50-60 etc. It's a real bummer, but at least there is an end in sight! :-). My PCP also has me on Phentermine right now, which is an appetite suppressant. I'm confident that without the Phentermine, it would be absolute torture. @@amazon I am SO ready for this to happen! Congrats on the weight loss so far, I know it can be such a battle!
  5. Lucky girl! I had to lose 10% plus I'm still on my 6 WEEK liquid diet. My hospital's Bariatric program is super strict!!
