  1. Can someone add me to the secret group on FB?
  2. Some of you are so lucky! Week 1 - Clear liquids Weeks 2 and 3 - full liquids Week 4 - purée Week 5 - transitioning to regular food Just finished day 5 of week 2. Still have 10 more days until purée!!!
  3. I wouldn't say I'm scarfing down liquids. I am just surprised that I am able to tolerate getting all my fluids in without any pain or discomfort. I am 100% on program and following all of my instructions. I was just curious if it was normal to do this and feel okay. Guess not?
  4. I don't know!! I slowly built up from the beginning and now it feels completely normal. It's worrying me!
  5. Hello all! I am 8 post-op and feeling really good. I am able to get all my liquids and Proteins in every day. I just had an entire can of cream of mushroom Soup for dinner. Are you supposed to wait 30 minutes after "eating" when you are on full liquids? Also, I have zero problem drinking large quantities. Is this normal?? Is it possible to expand my sleeve with liquids? I try to drink and sip as slowly as possible, but the time it takes me to drink things (or even eat the soup) doesn't seem as different as before.

  7. I was sleeved Wednesday of last week. I am feeling better and better every day, it really is amazing! I can drink much more today than yesterday. Starting to feel more and more that this was the right decision for me. I would live to be friends too!

  10. Thanks for the encouragement. It is a bit better today. Have drank 4 oz of my Protein shake (15 g) and will try get more down in a little while. Have had 1/2 of my 17 oz bottle of Water. Not too bad I suppose. I just can't wait to feel better!

  12. Hi vgsjourney, my nutritionist said to drink shakes and that protein was most important. She even let me make it with half milk since I don't really like them with water. She said if I can tolerate it, I can even have it with with 8oz fat free milk.
  13. Hello everyone, this is my first post here. I am 3 days out from surgery and it is so much tougher than I had imagined. I had to stay an extra night due to naseau. Now, I am sipping all day but was only able to get through half of one 8 oz shake. I am working on some Water now. I know it will get better, but I am just feeling so awful, almost like it will always feel this way...I just want to get back to feeling better again!
