  1. I was sleeve almost two months ago. After Breakfast (little portion of some grits and turkey bacon), I started experiencing symptoms of my stomach and chest rumbling and gurgling constantly. My throat has been dry and I have been dealing with nausea and a little diarrhea to the point where I have ran to the bathroom because it feels like I am going to throw up. I was wondering if this was normal or a normal condition? I plan on calling my doctor's office if things continue.

    Anyone else had these symptoms

Yes, I have eaten these foods before. I haven't had any issue maybe stomach/chest gurgling but nothing like what I experience yesterday. Also usually the nausea sometimes even throwing up and other symptoms might come and then they will go away but this last all day. Eating fast could be it because I do tend to eat fast sometimes. I have started a cold so could that be the reason some of these things are happening?

    TMI - Gas :(

I am about one month in and some weeks. I still have a problem with gas. It's not as bad as it was after my surgery but it can be annoying. It fills up in my stomach in the middle of the day when I am work and I have a hard time even wanting to eat the rest of the day. I wish it won't be so bad as time goes on. Also I am constantly passing through which I had sometimes or I am burping.

    JULY 2014 SLEEVERS GROUP

I had a hiatal hernia repair too. I have heard of others dealing with the gurgling too, I think it might be normal. I believe it's due to me drinking as opposed to sipping. I just hope it stops in the coming days because it's a horrible sound

    JULY 2014 SLEEVERS GROUP

It seem like a lot of people are starting to eat solid foods. I will be on the next stage of starting soft solids but I don't know if my stomach is ready. Also when I am at work I get gas pain in my stomach. I don't know what is the cause but it makes me not able to eat for the rest of the day until I go home,. Also when I drink I heard gurgling in my throat which is so embarrassing. I just don't know how to keep the air out.

    JULY 2014 SLEEVERS GROUP

Sleeved on July 15 and I decide to have this surgery because I was to a point where I was at the highest weight I have ever been in my life. I would try to go on diets but the drive to actually stick to it burned out a long time ago. I decided last year to call and get information about WLS. Now I am about three weeks out and I am trying to adjust to this new lifestyle.

    FRUSTRATED!

I am about two weeks out and I am having a stall too which frustrating me. I have only lost two pounds since my last weight in appt with my doctor. It also doesn't help that my stomach is still bloated and sore

    Does anyone regret it?

I was sleeved on 7/15/14 and for the first two nights when I was in pain, couldn't sleep, and spitting up. I told myself in my head "Why did you do this yourself?" Even now three weeks out still in the puree stage...with weight coming off. I still have feelings of regret that pops up. Especially when I want to eat something I can't eat (craving salad like crazy) or when I see people around me eating anything they want with not a care in the world. It makes me mad. LOL I haven't gotten to the point where I'm like I love my sleeve. It was either this or keep going up in the 300s.
  12. I am one week from the day I underwent the VSG procedure. Most of my painful symptoms such as gas pain has gone away but I am still having difficulty, adjusting to this new lifestyle. Especially with eating, like today it seems like I am having a hard time eating and getting the Protein shakes down. I would take a bite or a sip then there would be a girdling sensation in the upper part of my chest then down to the top of my stomach. I am getting sick of this feeling so I was wonder if anyone has had this problem, is it normal, and will it go away? Also I am confused what my full signal is, my stomach is still sore, rumbling, and healing from the procedure so I don't know if I should follow my stomach's feeling of fullness and how long after I should eat because I never feel physically hunger but I know I must eat/ drink to fill my juice and protein requirements. What where you full signals the first couple of weeks and how long did you eat again after those signals?

Maybe I should have left bite out, I am on a fine puree diet. I eat mushy foods such as yogurt, soup, popsiciles, applesauce etc. Foods like that and of course the liquids and protein shakes as well. I am not actually eating solids foods. I found that I do really well with yogurt other it kind of difficult.

I think I should try eating at a certain periods of time because right now, I only feel head hunger and not actual hunger. I want to feel normal again as well. Yes, sometimes my nose starts to run a little to even if I only drink three slips of my Protein Drinks. Gas X didn't work well for me like others
