  5. Jayhawk, You have done very well thus far, at losing a great amount of weight. I too had surgery on 7/31/14 and can understand your frustration. If I could suggest to you to try not weigh yourself daily (it messes more with the psyche). Keep up the good work of what your doctor and nutritionist said and you will continue to do well! Good luck!
  6. Very courageous story!! Thank you for sharing! Keep up the good work!
  7. Congrats on the successful surgery! Since it is but so much your tummy can take....did you note what you ate? Did you drink to quick after eating? Or maybe sugar (more than enough) was in something you ate? I have felt this way a few times and realize if it is a particular food, maybe I will revisit "it" at another time (day) and not have the same effects as before . Check in with your doctors' office (nutritionist) and they will direct you in the right direction. Good luck!
  8. It can be very hurtful, when the very ones we feel SHOULD be on our side is NOT! We have to still love them, but yet do what is best for us! I'm sure mom loves you dearly.....but EVERYONE will not always be happy for you, as you are for yourself. You have support on bariatric.pal!! Good luck!

  16. Soor..does that mean...
  17. When you say no protein does that me no shakes of any kind?
  18. Ccr3. Congrats on your weight loss! I had my sleeve done on the same day. You do tend to get full fairly quick (even after chewing forever). I tend to have to go back several times (maybe over two/three hours) to eat a small portioned plate. No worries. Our body and mind is adjusting to our new tummies. Even if you are not able to eat pureed/solid foods my doctors' office asks "are you staying hydrated?". That is the main thing. Sipping throughout the day. Good luck!
  19. There will ALWAYS be "negative nellies" (I am trying to be nice) . You and many of us have/will do what is best (physically) for us. You look VERY good!! Skinny jeans look good on you. You go girl!
