  1. They have quoted you the wrong price. Byars and King in together. Their office charges $150.00 per visit after your first year.
  2. Ms. Wilson works for both doctors. Byars is the way to go. About 95% of the 40+ hospital employees that are banded have used him.
  3. Becky Wilson works with The Surgicial Clinic of North Ms 662-513-9671. She can guide you through the process if you choose Dr. Byars in Oxford. He has preformed surgery on my wife and I. She has lost 70lbs since April and I have lost 48lbs since Nov. 26. Good luck.
  4. Congrats on your weightloss. Please address your concerns with your doctor. Earlier in the month, I went for my second doctors visit (6 week) and practically begged for a fill and did not receive one because I had lost 14 pounds in four weeks. Additionally, I have a friend that has lost over 100lb since April without a fill. Keep on doing well and let us know how your next doctor's visit goes.
  5. I was banded on Nov. 26th and have put in 15-20 miles per week of jogging for the last three weeks. I haven't had any problems so far. Just can't wait to drop some more pounds so I can pick up the pace for some springtime 5-10ks.
  6. I watched the show and on at least two occassions O.W. stressed that the participants lost their weight witout diet pills or WLS. I am just proud they lost weight and hope they keep it off. I went online to the forum page and was really pissed when people were saying that WLS people are lazy etc...
  7. My wife was banded in late April and has lost 60 pounds. She looks and feels great. I have just got the band and look forward to being able to be on the same page with her. Hate to admit it but I was eating my food and her leftovers too.

  9. I agee with you. I have told my famliy, friends and co-workers. They have all been positive or neutral. I have reached a point where I want to finally lose weight and keep it off and feel that the band is the tool for me.
  10. I was banded on 11/26 by Dr. Byars at Baptist in Oxford, Ms. I started at 315 about 5 weeks ago and this morining weighed 290. I realize that the band is a tool and am excited about having it to aide me in my weight loss.

  15. If you have a Fleet Feet near you they will fit you with a shoe that meets your demands whether you need a cushion, stability or etc. shoe. They carry Brooks, Asics, NB, Mizuno and several more brands.
