Hello Gus, I was a self pay with Dr. Mueller and was not told I had to join an online forum. The total cost did include a mandatory monthly excercise class for one year.

I called my Doctor this morning and left a message. Hopefully I won't have to wait long. Thanks for your responses.

I had my surgery twelve days ago. Until recently I have been able to trace the outline of my port but now I have a huge knot, about the size of a tennis ball. It's not swollen or red, just under the skin I can feel it. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi, I was banded by Dr. Mueller on 10/26/07. Everything went well and so far I have been very happy in having him as my surgeon.

Hi, I was taking fish oil and flaxseed oil pre-op for high tryglcerides. I am now five days post-op and would like to resume taking them or perhaps cut them and put the oil on something. Any suggestions?

Thank you very much for your reply. I was worried that they had problems.

For some reason I thought I would only be getting three cuts but I woke up with five. Of course I didn't notice this till after I was home so I didn't ask the nurses or my doctor. Is five cuts normal?

Hi and thanks for your reply. I am scheduled for the 26th of this month and am struggling with the pre-op diet. Sheesh, if I could stick with it I wouldn't need the surgery. Wishing you continued success.:eek:
