  1. I was told to stop drinking pop and coffee prior to surgery. I couldn't imagine not having my morning coffee. I started with smaller amounts of coffee. I haven't had a cup of coffee since the end of June . You can do it!!
  2. Absolutely nothing with carbonation, no coffee, no drinking 15 min before meals, during meals, and for 45 min after.
  3. Thanks! So do they go off your initial consult weigh in or your last weigh in with the nutritionist?
  4. So has anyone with Cigna been approved with a BMI of 40 and no co-morbidity ?
  5. I can relate to everything that has been said. I have my last nutritionist appt. august 26 then submit to insurance. Hoping for late sept. Or early oct. I can't wait to start feeling better and get back in the game of life!!
  6. I found out my surgery won't be until first of October. I also need to lose 15lbs before surgery. Would love to have some diet buddies

  10. Absolutely no coffee or soda for me again. I haven't got my official diet yet but I do think I can have solids it's just very calorie restricted. 700 calories a day for 2 weeks
  11. I have told my spouse, children, parents and brothers & sisters, a few close friends. I don't feel it's something everyone needs to know. I am comfortable with that.
  12. I am hopeful my insurance approval goes smooth and fast. I live in Idaho and would love to have a buddy to go through this journey with. I wish all great success!
  13. Hi, I have my last appt. with dietician on august 27. My surgery date is tentative for sept. 10. I am so ready to feel better !!! I would also like to be in touch with people who are going through the same surgery around the same time.

  16. I haven't needed to lose any weight on my supervised diet but I need to be 10 lbs less on surgery day than I was at consult. My last appt. is August 27 and I will actually need to lose 16lbs. It is helpful yo read everyone's suggestions, thanks
