  1. Wow Rachel, that's freaking awesome!! So envious I am struggling with my fluid amounts and yes I am the same also feeling weak and very flat. Congrats on the 9lbs since surgery and 51lbs in total you are rocking it.

  3. Welcome Tanya, how are you travelling ?? I was the 18th and struggling manly with fluids just can't do the full amounts and still in a little pain.
  4. I just actually spoke to my surgeon about the same thing, you can actually buy protein that's not like a powder and used in water. The name slips my head but I am going to the sports and diet shop to get some this week. I will add this to my fluids I hope you are feeling better soo

  6. This is the worst one, I have my esphegous reconstructed also but it is these types of dressings I have on my incisions.
  7. Silly Question I forgot to ask my surgeon today when I was released. when can you take off my bandages off my wounds? I am 4 days post op. Thanks in advance
  8. Well I am finally home!! Sleeved on Thursday , tad bit and have had my "crazy pain moments" but hey it can only get better. Still have a little gas pain but getting better. Can't wait to sleep tonight I can tell you.

  10. I am hearing you I constantly feel like I am sticking stuff in my mouth.. I keep a sipper bottle with me but boy oh boy it's hard. I don't get the full amount that's for sure
  11. Hi I was sleeved 18 September and I had only one day of really bad nausea for the same reasons. My dr has taken me back to injections or through the drip and using other fluids to try and help me.. I don't know about you but I certainly did have about 5 to 8 hours of what the hell are you doing to yourself.. I have been very tired also but this is slowly passing, as started drinking gateraide for a boost and it seems to help. I have not tried protein shakes yet but I guess when my surgeon puts me on them I will see soon enough.. Chin up and Good luck..
  12. I think you should seek medical attention to play it safe.
  13. I am day 3 post op and I find it harder to drink Water, so I do green tea, power aide and apple juice or broth. Good luck
  14. I am day three post op, and I still get gas pain not so bad anymore as I do go for walks.. Just try and move when you can.. Good luck everyone
  15. I am September 18.. Sleeved 3 days ago and slowly starting to get better now.
  16. Yes I had that this morning and it made me sick. I was dry reaching , worst morning this morning thank goodness today got better. Had a mini melt down this morning.
  17. I am only day 2, but I have heard people say that you can retain Fluid because it goes into shock.. Just don't stress about it. Stick to the plan and you will be ok.. Good luck and don't let this bring you down. My dietician told me to only weigh myself monthly because your weight can very so much from day to day.
  18. Well I am here!! Operation went well and morphine has been my friend. Slept for about 10 hours after the sleeve so now I have been pretty much awake all night. Looking forward to my new adventure!
  19. Well I am sleeved!! Finally did it, the pain has been ok so far. The morphine has helped a bit. Just need to walk off this gas pain today. Slept all day yesterday so I have been wide awake all night . Hugs to you all
  20. On my way to the hospital, touch emotional, excited, nervous.. Glad I am doing this, but disappointed on the other hand that I have got to this point. So looking onwards and upwards. Also getting another operation to fix my reflux mechanism. Good luck to everyone and look forward to sharing my journey with you all.
