<p>HI! </p> <p>Just went to seminar at Baylor in Dallas. REally liked Dr barnes who is with Dr Arnold and DR Kuhn. Did you decide on a Dr? After the seminar they had some patients there to answer questions and they spoke highly of both Dr Arnold and Dr Kuhn. Did you go to their seminar? What did you think about it?</p>

<p>I know!! I've been trying to put a ticker on mine also but cant figure it out. I asked my children and they could not figure it out either( ha,ha) they think thei r so smart sometimes.</p>

Darn, I live in Arlington Texas. I've heard that the only place you can have it done is Baylor or Methodist Hospital in Dallas. Not sure of who the Dr's are.

I was supposed to go to my 1st seminar this evening with Dr Snow. But was given good advice to call first to see if they accepted medicare. He does not. Most of the Dr's that are recommended on here do not accept medicare. I was told on Baylor and Methodist Hospital were approved to do the lapband. Anyone know the Dr's from Baylor or Methodist?:help:

Hi! Just a short introduction. My name is sherri and in 38 yrs old with a BMI of 40. I am disabled and have a morhpine pump in my stomach which Im not sure if the Dr will have a problem with. Im on medicare and not sure if they will cover this.Just needing to know of any suggestions on what I should ask and look out for from the Dr's. Im going to 1st seminar tomorrow and dont know what to expect.Have read many post and I am happy to know that there is a place where I can talk to other people in the same situation. Any information would be greatly appreciated!!!

HI! does anyone have any suggestion on what I need to ask at the seminar? Im going tomorrow and do not know what to expect. Im already set up for a sleep study beacuse my Dr believes I have sleep apnea. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Im new to this so I was wondering how bad are the hunger pains? Ive read that you have to do a liquid diet a week prior to surgery and im scared that im not going to be able to stick to even that! And then you have to have liquids for several week after? I just wanted to know that hopefully the hunger pains are not so bad after the procedure. Am I right?

Hi, Im new too! Kinda scared about the whole thing and dont know what to expect. Going to 1st seminar tomorrow. On medicare because of a disability and dont know if they will cover it. I sure dont have the money to pay cash! Have morphine pump in my stomach and not sure if they can even do it? any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!
