  1. Also looking in to surgery in Mexico, so far I've called 3 different clinics and so far only one has returned my call the clinic is in Tijuana and their qualifications sounds very good , so I'll be waiting for the others to call back and see what they offer.:ranger:
  2. One thing that makes me feel better about having it done in Mexico is that they have many more years of experience than here in the US, I've been reading and according to many of their websites they started using the lap band in Mexico more then 10 years ago, so I guess Other than my money issue I have one more positive thing to take in to account.
  3. Hello everyone I'm 52 and every year for the last 5 years I seem to be gaining 10 lbs per year I can't take this anymore, I cannot afford to have my surgery in the US so I'm looking in to a couple of places in Mexcico, I'm very afraid about having it done in a foreign country but I have no other choice the surgery cost here in the US is way out of my budget
  4. Hello everyone!!!! I'm also new and self pay, cannot afford the surgery in the US, so I'm looking in to a couple of surgeons in Mexcico, I'm nervous and frustrated at the same time, I don't know if this is normal but I'm taking my time to make the best decision.
