My name is Ashley, I am 21 years old from Savannah, GA. I found out about the Gastric Bypass surgery through a mutual friend who recently had her surgery and has already lost 102 lbs. I have decided to go ahead and get this surgery while i am young so that i can look back on my twenties and have no regrets from missing out on life experiences. I have struggled with weight my entire life while I sit back and watch my younger sister who has no weight issues experience the life I always dreamed of. I've alway been an animal lover so when i was told i was too heavy to go horse back riding i was hit with a huge wake up call. I hope for my sake that my weight does decrease so that I can experience things like fair rides, horseback ridding and zip lining without being embarrassed and told I was too heavy and of course I would love to be able to wear a bikni! also, I recently got engaged to my boyfriend of 2 years and I'd love to be thin and beautiful walking down the isle!
