June Gastric Sleevers Out there
I had to check the name on this post to make sure I didn't write it skerstad as your experience is mirroring my own!!! I was sleeved on June 27th and have just started pureed foods yesterday, I am having a little trouble eating slow and getting enough Fluid...I too noticed that my aches and pains have diminished and I am wondering if this is from the lack of gluten in my diet? Best of luck to you, keep me posted with your progress!! skjerstad

7/7/14 was my life changing day!
I had my surgery an 6/27 and can finally eat a mashed egg for breakfast!! My liquid breakfast was one of my Protein shakes that I would Water down because they are too sweet for my taste. Its only for a short time but I am glad to have other options!! Hang in there, you'll be eating pureed foods before you know it!!!

June sleevers, check-in!
My searing pain is down to a burning pain today, LOL!!! I was concerned about this pain because I didn't have it the 1st week post op and felt as if I had injured myself by not taking it easy enough towards the end of the first week. I haven't taken any pain meds because of constipation for the last 5 days and I have been relatively comfortable except for the burning pain that I only have when I am getting up or down. So far today I'm feeling great, if I can remember to stay out of the garden, no bending or squatting, get in a couple of half hour walks...its going to be a wonderful day!!!

June sleevers, check-in!
I was sleeved on 6/27, I was just wondering how bad everyones pain was 1 week from surgery at the hole the stomach was removed from. I have a bad searing pain unless I press hard on the lump under the incision site. Other than this pain, I am doing great!!! I'm never hungry, I eat and drink with a spoon to slow down my drinking because drinking too fast as I have found this can be quite uncomfortable.

My surgery was June 24th
I had my surgery 6/27, was home by the afternoon of the 28th. I am down 17 pounds but I'm guessing that most of that is Fluid. I am getting in most of my liquids, even sneaking in a Protein shake every now and then in the hopes of making this hunger go away, it seems to work! My bowels feel like they are going to explode if I cant empty them soon and the incision where my stomach was removed are my greatest source of pain. Every day is getting a little bit better...I cant wait to see what the future brings!!! Best of luck to all of you on this new journey!!!

June sleevers, check-in!
Day 3 post op (6-27)!!! Hurting only at the incision on the left and because I cant pass gas. Today, is the first day that I havent gone back to bed after getting up, still feeling weak and tired though, maybe a Vitamin will help with that!!!
