  7. Hello all I am 11 Days Post-Op and all is well. I am still on my liquid diet =(. I haven't had any problems with nausea or vomiting. Only complications I have had was with my big incision bleeding. No infection or swelling, it's just the knot of the stitch came out so the skin has to mend back together. My Nut isn't worried so I'm not either. Can't wait to start my next phase: purée foods. Good Luck to everyone Pre and Post Op.

  11. Congrats JO so happy for you. Maybe try some Gas X strips or chewable to relieve some of the pressure. Hopefully you get out soon.
  12. Thanks for the replies. I confirmed with my doctor at my Pre-Op appt I will not have a drain. He did inform me about a catheter. He said that won't hurt when they take it out... But I was wondering how do you walk with it????

  18. My surgery is on July 9, 2014. Pre-op diet starts on the 25th. I am not going to lie, since I found out my surgery date, I have been having food funerals!! You name it I have had it. Just to remember the taste. My Bday is on the 27th of July and I had my birthday cake yesterday. Figures right. Well I am tired of it all. The food has me feeling sick and I ready to start my pre-op diet. I am ready for my new life on the 9th.
