Sorry you had to have surgery. My doctor told me to eat at least 1000 calories per day (65g protein). I use MyFitnessPal to track my meals. Good luck.

My first thought: Aren't 18 year-olds about to start college all anxious?

I had sleeve 5/6/14 and just this week have wanted "regular" food the family is eating like hamburgers, hot dogs, banana bread and ice cream. I've been doing so well weight wise and had no cravings until now. I don't know how to deal with it except keep drinking Water. Tips anyone?

I found this sleeve surgery the easiest surgery I have had. The only pain was "gas", and it was mostly in my back the first night. Everything will go well for you. Good luck

Hi. I'm new to the forum. I had sleeve on May 6, 2014 by Dr. Hung in Lincoln, NE. He and his staff are great. I had seen someone else before I saw Dr. Hung, and switched because I was given confusing information, and the staff couldn't answer questions to my satisfaction. He and his staff are so organized, and quick to return my e-mail questions. They are so positive and encouraging. Just had my 5-week appointment and weight loss is right on track. I highly recommend this surgery and this surgeon.
