  1. I felt very guilty about the $14,000 we shelled out. It took a lot of encouragement from my husband and family to move forward with this decision. But you know what? After going through with it, I have found that I can give my family back a better, healthier, more energetic me! This is working and truth be told, I should've done it sooner...
  2. I was just discharged from the hospital. The experience was wonderful! My doctor is Wade Barker and he performed the surgery at Forest Park Medical Center in Southlake. I'm also self-pay. I wish you all a speedy recovery!
  3. Take salsa lessons and shop for cute clothes! Also, wear high heels without having to take them off a few minutes later.
  4. I haven't had my surgery yet, but could it be your body responding to the trauma of surgery? It's probably temporary.
  5. I'm having my surgery on Wednesday. I have stayed faithful to the pre-op diet because like someone said in a previous post, it is set in place for a reason. One thing I have found helpful is drinking a protein shake as soon as I feel the slightest sensation of hunger. Besides, the 10 ponds I have lost on the pre-op diet motivate me to stay on it.
