I stand corrected. I talked to my surgeon's on-staff nutritionist and I will be participating in a low-fat diet 2 weeks prior to surgery. Sboulie, can you pm your diet plan?

My doctor has not mentioned anything about a pre-surgery diet. Which is strange to me, seeing that so many of you mention it. Anyone know why some physicians would require a pre-surgey diet and/or some that wouldn't require it?

That's funny.....I never thought about it like that but you are right. It IS like planning a wedding! Hopefully with a fantastic honeymoon!!!

Louisiana here too! Got my insurance approval today for July 9th surgery. Lots of mixed emotions but excited for the most part.
